Mil-Tec PVC Poncho - Olive

Rain poncho crafted entirely from waterproof PVC plastic. Featuring an integrated hood, it shields the head against rain and wind. Ideal for field operations as well as daily wear during wet weather conditions.

Waterproof, versatile use

Distinguished by a water resistance rating of 1600 mm/m2, along with glued waterproof seams and robust press studs, the poncho offers secure fastening of the sleeves and allows for easy adjustment to the user’s fit.

Designed to fully shield an adult carrying a backpack, the model functions exceptionally well in harsh environments. In extreme situations, users can unzip and suspend the poncho to form a compact tent or tarp. The integrated snap fasteners make it possible to connect multiple ponchos, resulting in an expanded shelter.

Set includes a compression transport bag crafted from polyester mesh, featuring a Velcro fastener. Packed down, the unit is highly compact and easily fits inside a backpack’s rear pocket.

    The poncho is lightweight and takes up little space when folded. The included pouch is mediocre. For the money, it's okay. The downside is that it is short. The material is quite thin. There are snap fasteners on the sides. There are no eyelets or cords at the corners of the poncho.

    Indeed, the opening for the head is troublesome. Last weekend I got caught in heavy rain and strong wind, which made the poncho reveal its weaknesses. It gets blown around, the snaps do not hold, and on top of that it does not protect the backpack... the conclusion is simple: you still end up completely soaked.
