Mora Companion Heavy Duty Fixed Blade Knife - Military Green

A multi-purpose outdoor knife designed for demanding tasks such as hiking, fishing, hunting, and bushcraft. Lightweight construction, an ergonomic handle, quality steel, and an exceptionally budget-friendly price invite confident, tough use in the field. The Mora Companion follows in the footsteps of the renowned Clipper model—a trusted knife now improved with an extended blade tang and an upgraded handle. Available now in the Heavy Duty version, featuring a reinforced carbon steel blade thickened to 3.2 mm.

Clip-point blade profile, high-carbon steel

Clip-Point profile heads are crafted from high-carbon steel, featuring a Scandinavian (Scandi) grind on the blade. The C100 carbon steel employed offers exceptional strength and, although hardened to a substantial 57.5 HRC, maintains resilience without becoming brittle. Compared to stainless steel, it allows for easier sharpening.

Ergonomically rubberized handle

Ergonomically contoured handle crafted from robust plastic and encased in rubber ensures a secure and comfortable grip, even when hands are wet or soiled. The handle houses a tang, an extension of the blade, integrated within the handle at approximately two-thirds of its length.

Plastic sheath with spring steel clip

Supplied with a practical plastic sheath, designed with a drainage hole to safely store wet or dirty knives. A spring clip ensures fast and secure attachment to a belt, pocket edge, or waistband.

For this price, the knife-tool is absolutely top-notch. I can recommend it to everyone. It's a knife you won't mind using in the toughest conditions, since you can replace it with another equally good example for a relatively low cost.

A knife that is virtually indestructible and relatively cheap—losing it won't give you a heart attack. When buying, keep in mind that carbon steel definitely does not get along with moisture.

I have been using the Mora Companion Heavy Duty Military Green for several months and I am really satisfied with it. The knife is solid and durable, the thicker carbon steel blade works great for cutting, scraping, or batoning larger pieces of wood. The rubber handle provides a firm grip even in wet conditions, and the weight and size make the knife comfortable for long-term use. The downside is the need for regular blade maintenance to prevent carbon steel from rusting, but otherwise it's a really reliable tool that works in any situation where a strong, sturdy knife is needed for everyday outdoor tasks.

Probably the knife I use most often, very sharp and fits perfectly in the hand thanks to its ergonomic handle and rubber coating. The sheath is OK, this Mora works well.

This knife is a legend. Very durable and holds its edge. You can baton wood with it. Fits well in the hand, quickly and securely drawn and sheathed. If you don't know which knife to buy, buy this one.

An ideal knife not only for bushwork, survival, camping, or everyday use. The steel dulls slowly and sharpens quickly. It's worth keeping a pocket sharpener on hand, just in case. With proper care, it will definitely last a very long time. The price-performance ratio is fantastic. 10/10. I recommend it!

Great knife at an acceptable price. The orange color makes it harder to lose, especially in the forest. It's very noticeable and easy to find. The knife is suitable for beginners because it doesn't hold its edge well, but if you bring a sharpener into the field, it can cut through anything. Very good, though batoning doesn't affect it. The knife is very good so I recommend it to others as well.

A knife for everything. Very sharp. Not heavy and at the same time strong. Solidly made, strong and durable product. Fits well in the sheath/holster. Even while running, it won't fall out. The handle is rubberized so the knife sticks like it's glued.

Nice color that stands out from the environment. It's a pity that with a thicker blade intended to increase power, the length and thus usefulness do not increase. Compared to the regular Companion, it's worse in the kitchen and only slightly better in wood. But the price is twice as high.

Great knife, keeps its sharpness for a very long time, easy and quick to sharpen, fits perfectly in the hand (for a carbon steel knife not to get a patina/rust, you should wash it, dry it thoroughly, and rub it with cooking oil). I recommend.

An indestructible knife, perfect for any camp work. The heavy duty version with a wider blade is great for batoning, and the sheath included works very well.

A tank of a knife, used for the heaviest work. The grip is very secure, the blade's thickness gives a lot of confidence. Ergonomic handle, does not slip. Mora is like a Toyota among knives. Seemingly nothing extraordinary, dull, predictable, complainers whine, but it always works well, never fails and inspires confidence. I recommend it to those who are deciding. Better to have four proven Mora knives you can beat up endlessly than one pampered knife of a much more expensive brand, especially since the steel used by the Swedes is very high quality. Resharpening is not problematic compared to fancy alloys. I recommend it. Worth keeping as a backup for when you don't want to use something much more expensive. No matter what you think of, it can't be accidentally damaged. I also have the stainless version of this same design. I recommend it—reliable, proven product without surprises.

Very good knife, fits solidly in the hand. Has some weight, it's sharp. Excellent, very versatile sheath. Tested in the field. Meets expectations.

A great, typical working knife. It sharpens easily and works excellently with wood. After forcing a patina, it's suitable for almost everything. I definitely recommend it.
