Equipped with a smooth Drop-Point blade crafted from AUS-8 stainless steel featuring a matte finish, the knife ensures high resistance to corrosion. A double thumb stud allows for effortless one-handed opening with either hand. Aggressive jimping on the spine offers a secure and stable thumb placement during operation.
Constructed from glass fiber reinforced nylon, the handle provides outstanding resistance to impact and adverse weather. Steel liners and a Liner Lock mechanism are integrated within. Designed with a pronounced index finger notch, the handle ensures a secure and comfortable grip. A lanyard or cord attachment hole is positioned at the butt of the handle.
A spring clip is included with the knife, enabling secure and easy attachment to a belt or the edge of a pocket. The reversible clip offers four mounting options: tip-down, tip-up, and configurations suitable for both right-handed and left-handed users.

I was looking for something intermediate between a medium folder with moderate 'power' and a fixed blade for heavy tasks, and that's exactly what the Rat 1 is for me, with a D2 steel blade. Obviously, it won't be used for batoning, but precisely in situations where I don't have something for really tough work with me, it still serves as a backup. I confidently recommend this knife.
I bought the knife for my son-in-law as a memento of his military oath, including engraving. Since he likes outdoor gadgets, he was very pleased. To sum up, it's a great and perfectly crafted knife. I recommend it.

A timeless classic, an EDC legend. Rat 1 is one of the icons and more importantly, still a very good knife. It opens smoothly, the handle is incredibly comfortable, and the blade is very sharp from the factory. If someone is looking for quality and at the same time an inexpensive knife—Rat 1 will certainly not disappoint.
Bought for 159 PLN and at that price, it's definitely okay. Nice look, comfortable to use, a bit big, sticks out of the pocket a little. Now, in my opinion, it's a bit too expensive, especially since there's a lot of cheaper competition nowadays that, in my opinion, are not inferior knives.
A five-year perspective review. The knife is very ergonomic, fits perfectly in the hand, making the grip secure and safe. Solid construction; when you carry it as an EDC, you feel like you have a "crowbar for tough jobs"—a simple brute but not crude. After years, I switched to Opinel due to the weight and the fact that the RAT1 causes understandable embarrassment when pulled out around strangers. It evokes concern, and rightly so, in my opinion. Nevertheless, if you use this type of folder I recommend it 10/10.
Great knife for this price range. Even though it has a simple construction, it fits perfectly in my hand. Mine came razor sharp and after 4 months of use, I haven’t sharpened it yet. But it serves mainly as a 'kitchen knife', so it isn’t overly abused. The whole mechanism works smoothly, the lock holds firmly, no manufacturing defects. If you need a good EDC knife you’ll be satisfied. Shipping as always was express! Regards!

Classic edition, at this price it's hard to find a better knife on the market. It matches the description perfectly, holds its sharpness well, is easy to sharpen, and the fit and finish are great.
I decided to buy this classic and I do not regret it. I have been putting it through a lot for several months now and it hasn’t rusted. Everything fits perfectly, I haven’t experienced any looseness. Wonderfully shaped and very ergonomic in hand. The blade profile allows for precise cutting of basically anything, and it’s so enjoyable I often use it instead of my kitchen knife. It sharpens very easily on a regular diamond sharpener (600 grit).

This is not a typical so-called tactical design but a tool with great cutting potential. Thanks to the blade shape, it’s perfect for making sandwiches and spreading bread. The knife is quite large, easy to maintain and clean... it cuts very well, is comfortable to carry... there are smaller versions and ones with assisted opening... the black coating comes off the blade quickly... the knife can create sparks thanks to its fairly sharp spine—what more could you want from this class of knife?
