The Pulsar thermal scope is engineered for precise targeting in both daytime and nighttime conditions. The Thermion 2 XP50 PRO variant offers a fixed optical magnification of 2x. For enhanced precision, it supports digital zoom from 2x to 16x, making it possible to detect targets even up to a distance of 1800 meters. Integrated within the thermal imager is a stadiametric rangefinder, utilizing the estimated height of objects for rapid distance calculation.
Outfitted with a sensor resolution of 640 × 480 pixels and a 17 µm pixel pitch, the Thermion 2 XP50 PRO thermal imager is distinguished by its impressive sensitivity, capturing temperature differentials below 25 mK. The display leverages AMOLED HD technology, featuring a 1024 × 768 pixel resolution. This high-contrast screen ensures vivid color rendering, energy efficiency, rapid response times, and smooth visuals, even in subzero temperatures. Operational controls are provided by integrated function buttons located on the tube.
The thermal sight incorporates eight display modes to aid recognition and identification of observed subjects:

The Thermion 2 XP50 PRO riflescope features ten reticle types (D50i, C50i, X54i, H50i, X50i, T54i, M58i, X51Fi-300, M56Fi (Mil-Dot), M57Fi (Mil-Dot)), presented in four selectable electronic colors aligned on the same plane as the target. This extensive choice ensures the right reticle selection for any given situation. The thermal imager provides five ballistic profiles with the capacity to store ten zeroing distances each. An integrated picture-in-picture function enables magnification of the image's central zone within a display window occupying 10% of the total viewing area, enhancing target identification.
Additional features of the model include photo and video saving to the built-in 16 GB internal memory. Files may be wirelessly transferred to a smartphone or tablet using Wi-Fi connectivity with the StreamVision 2 application. The integrated Wi-Fi module allows a mobile device with StreamVision 2 to serve as a remote display or for remote operation. Enhanced user comfort is provided by a diopter adjustment system.
Constructed with a metal housing that withstands mechanical impacts and shock, the scope is compatible with firearms of up to 6000 J recoil (.375 H&H, 9.3 × 64). Its compact form factor and sealing grant the thermal imager an IPX7 water resistance rating, ensuring waterproof protection at 1 m depth for 30 minutes. Usable in temperatures ranging from -25 to +50 degrees Celsius.
Dual-battery power is supplied, with one built-in battery rated at 4900 mAh and a replaceable APS2 unit with 2000 mAh capacity. This configuration provides the Thermion 2 with up to 10 hours of continuous use. APS3 batteries (not included) are supported via the provided APS3 adapter. A built-in USB Type-C port extends operational time by permitting power bank usage. The energy-saving Display OFF mode turns off the display without shutting down the device.
