Forged from D2 steel, the blade boasts exceptional abrasion resistance and outstanding edge retention. Its composition, featuring elevated levels of carbon and chromium, delivers superior wear resistance.

A blade featuring a Drop-Point profile, engineered for superior tip durability. This shape excels in outdoor and EDC scenarios, where a balance of enhanced piercing capability and precise blade handling is essential. Along the spine, jimping offers a reliable thumb rest, improving grip and control during cutting tasks.

The Evolution Ironclad is equipped with a Flat Grind, delivering greater resistance to wear and impact. A Blackwash finish has been applied to the blade, minimizing glare while imparting a rugged matte appearance.

Handle from G10 laminate, spring clip

The ergonomically shaped handle features scales crafted from highly durable black G10 laminate. A spring-loaded steel clip, positioned for tip-up carry, secures the knife effortlessly to a belt or pocket edge, ensuring convenient everyday access. The clip is fixed on the right side.

thumb stud, Frame Lock

Equipped with a double-sided thumb stud, the blade is easily deployed using the thumb, providing ambidextrous operation for both left- and right-handed users. The open blade is locked securely into place by the Frame Lock, which features a user-friendly button push mechanism on the frame, allowing for rapid and convenient one-handed opening and closing, even when wearing gloves. An additional sliding safety lock protects against unintentional blade deployment or closure, enhancing safety during transport and use.

D2 is a high-carbon tool steel classified as semi-stainless, characterized by high wear resistance and the ability to maintain a thin, durable edge. It achieves a hardness of 57-62 HRC, which ensures long-lasting sharpness even with intensive use. Its chemical composition is a precisely selected combination of elements: carbon (1.4-1.6%), chromium (11-13%), molybdenum (up to 0.8%), vanadium (up to 1%), manganese (up to 1%), and silicon (up to 1%). The high carbon and chromium content ensures hardness and wear resistance, while molybdenum and vanadium improve the strength and durability of the cutting edge. Although D2 steel is not completely stainless, its corrosion resistance is sufficient to meet the requirements of most conditions of use. It is widely used in the production of mid-range and high-end knives, including handmade knives and cutting tools.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Blackwash feature
Blackwash
Blackwash is a finish that combines oxidation (graphite-black shade of steel) with the Stonewash technique. The blade is first coated with black and then treated in a drum with abrasive. This creates an aging effect - a dark background with lighter abrasions and micro-scratches. This gives the knife a raw, “used” look, masks scratches well, reduces light reflections, and works well in tactical knives. Thanks to its combination of practicality and aesthetics, Blackwash is popular in EDC, outdoor, and combat knives.

    Finally a decent, large knife and not some puny pocketknife with a 6 or 7 cm blade. Great design, great workmanship, everything fits perfectly, no looseness, high quality materials. And I confirm the opinion of the previous reviewer that this time the recently prevailing monotony among knife designs has been overcome.
