Durable construction from 1000D and 500D Cordura

The majority of the backpack's components are constructed from rugged, abrasion-resistant 1000D Cordura. Areas that are less exposed, such as the rear foam insert pocket and the sides of the flap, utilize a lighter 500D Cordura.

Spacious main compartment, flat front pocket

Designed with a large main compartment, the model allows for quick access via a wide flap secured by two buckles. Inside, there is a pocket dedicated to a hydration bladder with an outlet for the hose. The pack also includes two spacious side pockets ideal for carrying a water canteen or beverage bottle. A flat zippered pocket is situated on the front. The back panel houses a removable foam insert that enhances structure, which, when detached, can function as a seat or provide extra insulation outdoors.

PALS system straps, compression straps

A multitude of PALS system straps enables the backpack to be expanded with additional pouches or pockets. Compression straps offer the flexibility to adjust the pack’s capacity or secure extra equipment. Positioned on the flap, the velcro panel serves for mounting any patch or insignia.

Ergonomic shoulder straps, carrying handle

Ergonomically designed shoulder straps featuring adjustable buckles provide excellent customization of the pack to your body, delivering superior comfort and secure stability on hikes. An integrated chest strap with a buckle boosts wearing comfort and ensures balanced weight distribution. For added convenience, a sturdy carrying handle is attached at the top, allowing for easy lifting and transport of the backpack.

    I chose this backpack because I like the Savotta brand and I was looking for something suitable for day trips and walks with my dog. For this use, it works well. However, I gave it one star less because I'm not a fan of the flap – I don't understand why the solution from the 25L model wasn't used. The biggest downside is the lack of adjustment for the flap fastenings, which are fixed, making the packing capacity quite limited and you can't overload it as needed. On the positive side, I attached my Askare with g-hooks without any problems and everything works together very well.

    The workmanship of the backpack inspires great confidence. Savotta uses the highest quality materials—1000D Cordura in critical areas ensures exceptional resistance to abrasion, while 500D Cordura in less exposed parts (e.g., sides of the flap) reduces weight without compromising durability.
