A compact and lightweight folding knife engineered for daily EDC (Every Day Carry) applications.
Equipped with a blade featuring a Clip-Point design, crafted from D2 tool steel renowned for its exceptional edge retention and resistance to wear and mechanical stress. The blade utilizes a flat grind, hardened to a range of 58-60 HRC and finished with a satin polish. SOG's proprietary low-temperature heat treatment enhances the steel’s performance characteristics.
Deployment is facilitated by either a thumb stud or a flipper, with jimping on the spine of the blade, providing a secure thumb grip during operation. A robust XR Lock mechanism ensures protection against accidental closure.
Textured handle scales made of G10 laminate deliver a reliable and firm grip under all conditions. A flexible steel clip, which can be attached on either side, allows for convenient everyday carry.

The knife is great. Good steel, well made, no play, relatively low weight. Excellent EDC knife. The lock is also a big plus. It also doesn't seem like it would open in your pocket—once I badly cut my hand that way. I’m taking off a star for the product not matching the listing, because it came with a different clip (long, thin, and without the SOG logo), but I decided this one could work too.

It is amazing! I’ve been thinking about getting a handy folder with good steel and assisted opening for a long time. I went for this SOG because of the crimson handles, D2 steel, and size. But I didn’t expect it to be so cool in real life! Opening it is so incredibly easy that you can forget about studs, flippers, even wrist flicks—this little guy opens and closes by gravity. It’s factory sharp, so be careful with your fingers while "clicking." The knife is light, handy, and comfortable in a pocket. I recommend it.
