Great workmanship, works flawlessly, I have no complaints. Since purchasing, it's been an inseparable companion on every trip. Highly recommended, this brand has never let me down.
Lightweight and practical folding knife crafted for reliable EDC (Every Day Carry) applications
The blade features a Clip-Point design and is forged from CPM S35VN stainless steel, renowned for outstanding corrosion resistance, superior edge retention, and easier sharpening than S30V. Thanks to its finer grain structure, the knife offers even greater resistance to chipping. The straight-edged blade incorporates a flat grind, reaches a hardness of 60-62 HRC, and boasts a satin finish. The steel has undergone heat treatment according to SOG's proprietary low-temperature performance standards.
Deployment is made smooth by either the thumb stud or flipper mechanism. Aggressive jimping along the spine of the blade ensures a stable thumb placement for precise control, while the robust XR Lock mechanism effectively prevents unintended blade closure.
Handles constructed from textured G10 laminate and carbon fiber offer a reliable, comfortable grip in any situation. For ease of everyday carry, a spring-loaded steel clip can be installed on either side of the knife to suit both left and right-handed users.

SOG Specialty Knives & Tools is an American brand founded in 1986 by Spencer Fraser, inspired by the MACV-SOG knife used by special forces during the Vietnam War. The first S1 Bowie model was created in collaboration with Japanese master blacksmith Ichiro Hattori and became an icon among tactical knives. SOG gained recognition with the SEAL 2000 model, which was adopted by the Navy SEALs and is now on display at the Navy SEALs museum in Fort Pierce. The brand also offers advanced multitools that use patented Compound Leverage technology, which nearly doubles the pressure of the pliers thanks to double pivot points. SOG products are characterized by their solid construction, precision workmanship, and are designed for both professionals and outdoor enthusiasts. Today, SOG tools are manufactured primarily in the US and Taiwan, continuing a tradition of quality and reliability.

The knife is great. Good steel, well made, no play, relatively low weight. Excellent EDC knife. The lock is also a big plus. It also doesn't seem like it would open in your pocket—once I badly cut my hand that way. I’m taking off a star for the product not matching the listing, because it came with a different clip (long, thin, and without the SOG logo), but I decided this one could work too.

It is amazing! I’ve been thinking about getting a handy folder with good steel and assisted opening for a long time. I went for this SOG because of the crimson handles, D2 steel, and size. But I didn’t expect it to be so cool in real life! Opening it is so incredibly easy that you can forget about studs, flippers, even wrist flicks—this little guy opens and closes by gravity. It’s factory sharp, so be careful with your fingers while "clicking." The knife is light, handy, and comfortable in a pocket. I recommend it.

A well-designed and well-made affordable folding knife. The size is perfect as an everyday companion. At this price, it’s hard to find a better option. I recommend giving it a try.

A very nice folder. Top materials: carbon and S35VN steel, and the price isn't killer. A good option for an EDC folder of small dimensions. I recommend it.

Opinion after several months of use. The workmanship quality is top-notch. The lock and folder opening work flawlessly even after long use. A good knife of small size as EDC. I recommend it.

I am delighted with this knife: 3 opening methods, a deep clip, and additionally a budget but not bad D2 steel, and a very nice handle color. The light weight of the tool makes it perfect for my EDC kit :) I recommend it.
