Well-shaped and pleasant-to-touch handle, the lock is fine, blade profile is also OK, but overall the price is a bit too high considering the steel used for the blade. In this budget, there are generally better options.
A medium-sized folding knife designed for standard EDC duties, making it ideal for daily tasks, while also catching the interest of those who appreciate tactical knives. The Persistence serves as a more compact interpretation of Spyderco's Tenacious model.
Crafted with robust construction, this knife handles demanding everyday jobs with ease. Its framework consists of a sturdy steel chassis paired with G10 handle scales that offer resistance to moisture, temperature extremes, and physical impact. The blade is forged from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel (comparable to AUS8 – 440C), which sharpens easily and maintains its edge effectively. Compact blade length allows for discreet and comfortable carry in the pocket or on a belt, ensuring practical usability.
Opening the knife is made easy with the traditional Spyderco blade hole (Spyderhole), enabling simple one-handed deployment from either hand. The blade is secured in place by a reliable liner lock mechanism.
Equipped with a steel pocket clip that can be configured in four different positions, the knife adapts to user preferences and carry style.
Spyderco delivers high-quality knives at a competitive price point.

Spyderco is an American company based in Golden, Colorado, founded in 1976 by Sal and Gail Glesser. The brand's origins are linked to the invention of the “Portable Hand,” which gave rise to the company's name, and in 1978, the innovative Tri-Angle Sharpmaker® was introduced. The breakthrough came in 1981 with the launch of the C01 Worker knife - the world's first model with a carrying clip, the distinctive Spyderhole opening, and the serrated SpyderEdge blade. Spyderco was also a pioneer in the use of new materials, being the first to introduce CPM S60V powder steel and H-1 stainless steel, designed for use in marine environments. For years, the brand has been collaborating with renowned knifemakers, including Al Mar, Ernest Emerson, and Marcin Slysz, creating unique models that have gained iconic status. The stylized spider logo symbolizes both the company's origins and Spyderco's values: precision, innovation, and high performance.

The knife features good quality materials and excellent assembly of the components. It is a smaller version of the well-known Tenacious. Although this model was made in China, its quality does not differ from the other, more expensive Spyderco products. I consider the purchase very successful and I can highly recommend the knife to those who are undecided.

Nice knife, light, handy, solidly made; excellent sharpness "out of the box." Perfect as an EDC. It's just a pity that it's made in PRC.

Super!!! I recommend!!!
-
Nice knife. Factory sharpness is 5-plus. You can literally shave with it. The steel is very good, doesn't lose its sharpness. The scales feel pleasant to the touch, the handle sits well in the hand. Cool design with a thumb rest at the back of the blade. As for the lock, I'm not a fan of the liner lock, but in this case it's done really solidly, just like the whole knife. Simple and pleasant one-handed operation. I recommend.
-
A knife for everyday use, its small size means you can always have it with you, and the clip keeps it securely in place, which helps avoid losing the knife.
-
Great little knife for little money.
