A lightweight yet robust folding knife designed specifically for everyday carry (EDC). Featuring a drop point blade crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, it offers easy sharpening, reliable edge retention, and exceptional resistance to corrosion. Produced with a full flat grind, the blade benefits from optimized geometry, delivering superior cutting performance. The edge boasts a sharpening angle of 18º.

A prominent thumb hole—both patented and trademarked by Spyderco—is integrated into the blade, enabling effortless one-handed opening with either hand, even while wearing gloves. Jimping along the spine provides a secure thumb rest, ensuring comfort and enhanced safety in use. In the open position, a strong, dependable liner lock secures the blade firmly in place.

Ergonomically contoured handle scales are constructed from tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) with a pronounced, anti-slip texture, guaranteeing a firm hold even when hands are wet or dirty.

A spring-tensioned, reversible pocket clip supports comfortable EDC by offering four carry positions—tip-up or tip-down on either side—allowing versatility for user preference.

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Spyderco.

Spyderco is an American company based in Golden, Colorado, founded in 1976 by Sal and Gail Glesser. The brand's origins are linked to the invention of the “Portable Hand,” which gave rise to the company's name, and in 1978, the innovative Tri-Angle Sharpmaker® was introduced. The breakthrough came in 1981 with the launch of the C01 Worker knife - the world's first model with a carrying clip, the distinctive Spyderhole opening, and the serrated SpyderEdge blade. Spyderco was also a pioneer in the use of new materials, being the first to introduce CPM S60V powder steel and H-1 stainless steel, designed for use in marine environments. For years, the brand has been collaborating with renowned knifemakers, including Al Mar, Ernest Emerson, and Marcin Slysz, creating unique models that have gained iconic status. The stylized spider logo symbolizes both the company's origins and Spyderco's values: precision, innovation, and high performance.

I'm rather not a fan of this steel and the material used for the scales. Spyderco doesn't have a bad model, but I would rather consider other options, for example those with G10 scales, better steel, etc.

The Spyderco Tenacious knife is an excellent choice for everyday carry (EDC), offering great value for money, solid construction, a handle that fits well in the hand, a sharp and practical blade profile made of 8Cr13MoV steel, and a practical four-position clip.

I wanted something compact for everyday use. Not too expensive, so I wouldn't feel bad, but also nothing cheap. And then this Spyderco Tenacious appeared. The production line from China lowered the costs. There's nothing to complain about in terms of quality. The craftsmanship is at a decent level. I once had a Spyderco made in Japan, so I have a comparison. The Tenacious is not for display cases, but for everyday tasks—from making sandwiches to whittling sticks, it's just right. I am very satisfied.

An excellent choice for a gift for a guy who may not have previously shown interest in EDC "sharp tools" like this =P And at this promo (255,20!), for such a knife and such a brand, it's simply a great deal =D

A knife whose purchase I postponed for quite a long time. Firstly - I already have several Spyderco knives (Delica, Military, Ikuchi, Bow River), and secondly - I was a bit worried about a drop in quality due to production in China. Well - unnecessarily. The quality and fitting are really not inferior to the other knives I already own, and even if they are - it's not by much. Nothing creaks, nothing bends, there's no blade play, and even when folded, the blade is perfectly centered (as you can see in the photo). Yes - such a Military model operates more smoothly (but it has also been used a lot...) and lighter - but currently, its price has shot up so high that you can buy four Tenacious knives for the price of one Military model... Is it worth paying extra for the S35VN steel version? In my opinion - no. Tenacious is a budget line, so the idea of premium steel and a significant price jump somewhat contradicts this concept. At nearly 700 PLN, the S35VN version faces stiff competition even among Spyderco products. For that amount, you can already get a Para 3 (better build quality and handle ergonomics), discounted Paramilitary 2s, or even save by buying a Delica, Endela, Endura, or Stretch. And often these are in better steels - like the brilliant K390. And how does 8CR13MoV perform? Surprisingly well! Spyderco tempers its knives very well, so even 'budget' steel can really do the job :) The knife arrived from the factory very sharp, with a nicely and evenly ground cutting edge. Stropping it a few times on rods and a belt, it quickly gained shine and easily cuts a hair in half ;) When cutting cardboard, as you might expect, it stops shaving rather quickly, but it keeps a good working edge for a long time, and can be brought back to a shaving edge in just a few minutes - that's awesome for me. It reminds me of the 1090 carbon steel in this regard - easy to sharpen, holds the edge nicely. Do I recommend it? Definitely yes - it's a solid piece of tool, made for work without any compromises!

Nice knife, came very sharp. Lighter than its Spyderco Tenacious counterpart with G10 handle scales, but it is just as solid. I recommend it.

The perfect folder for EDC. Small, light, disappears in your pocket. I recommend it.

My first Spyderco knife!! Came very sharp. Scales are well textured and give you good grasp on the knife!! Centering of the blade is good, and the locking mechanism is very good. It is really light compared to similar sized knives from Cold Steel and Master Cutlery.
