Stoirm Tactical Gen2 Softshell Jacket - Ranger Green

Green jacket constituting the upgraded successor to the Tactical Softshell model. A lightweight and warm outer layer intended for field work, professional use, and everyday wear in changeable weather conditions.

It combines rain protection at the level of 10 000 mm/m2 with breathability of 10 000 g/m2/24 h and fabric flexibility. The well-thought-out fit does not restrict range of motion, and numerous pockets allow you to conveniently carry essential equipment.

The jacket is made of durable Rip-Stop fabric with a structure that increases resistance to intensive use. The reinforced weave reduces the risk of tears forming and slows their enlargement in the event of mechanical damage to the fabric. The material contains an elastane blend, which improves its fit to the body and increases freedom of movement.

The model has a fleece finish on the inside, which improves wearing comfort and provides an additional insulating layer. The soft structure helps reduce heat loss in cooler conditions. The fleece layer also increases comfort when wearing the jacket directly over a T-shirt or a thin thermal base layer.

The outer layer is coated with a hydrophobic PFC-free DWR finish. It reduces water absorption and helps droplets run off the fabric surface. The hydrophobic finish makes dirt less likely to stick and makes the jacket easier to keep clean.

The jacket provides waterproofness at the level of 10 000 mm/m2, confirmed by a test compliant with the EN ISO 811 standard. This parameter provides protection against precipitation encountered during everyday use and field activities.

The fabric's breathability is 10 000 g/m2/24 h, according to the JIS L1099 B1 test. This facilitates the release of water vapour generated during exertion, reducing the feeling of excessive heat build-up inside the jacket.

The model is equipped with a set of 6 pockets arranged on the body, chest, and sleeves:

• 2 pockets on both sleeves with zipper pulls

The lower pockets can be used for warming hands, while also providing space for basic accessories. The soft lining increases comfort in cooler conditions. The sleeve pockets are positioned high, so they can be used without removing a backpack or belt.

The chest pocket provides quick access to small items such as documents, a phone, a flashlight, or other handy equipment. The internal pocket allows you to safely store items requiring additional protection.

The jacket is fastened with a SBS two-way zipper. This design allows the jacket to be unzipped from the top or bottom, which makes it easier to regulate ventilation, access equipment worn underneath, and use the jacket comfortably in a seated position. The main zipper is covered by a flap that limits the penetration of wind and moisture.

Long ventilation zippers are placed on the sides. They allow you to quickly increase airflow and release excess heat during intense activity. Their position makes it possible to regulate temperature without having to fully unzip the jacket.

The hood has a shaped, slightly stiffened visor, which increases face protection against rain and reduces incoming wind. The hood construction is fitted to the head, and the side and rear adjustments allow its volume to be reduced and stability improved during movement.

The hood can be detached when it is not needed. After detaching it, the jacket retains a minimalist form with a high collar protecting the neck.

There are velcro panels on the outer side of both sleeves. They allow the attachment of patches, emblems, unit markings, ID tags, or other elements personalizing the jacket. The lower edge of the jacket features adjustment with an elastic drawstring and cord lock. This allows the hem to be fitted to the body and helps reduce wind getting in from below.

The cuffs can be adjusted using wide velcro fastenings. This allows the sleeve circumference to be fitted to the wrist, gloves, or an additional layer of clothing. On the inside, elastic knit cuffs with thumb holes are used. They stabilize the sleeves during movement, limit them riding up, and provide additional protection for the wrists.
