If you're wondering whether this forward assist will improve the look of your carbine, then yes, it definitely will ;) It looks great when installed on the upper. It also has the advantage of being a bit smaller than the standard one, making it harder to smash your fingernail on it during charging, which happened to me twice with the standard one.

Great upgrade for the carbine compared to the standard forward assist. The original would get rusty deposits after longer tactical competitions, but this one is not only better profiled for the thumb, it also has no issues with corrosion.

It may seem like a small thing, but the carbine looks completely different with such an accent. Additionally, it is made of aluminum, so it won't rust, which can happen with the original steel ones.

The forward assist is very well made. It's not really a necessary upgrade in the AR15, but it goes very nicely with Aero Precision uppers and those milled by better manufacturers.
