The folding folder knife measures a total of 166 mm in length and features a 74 mm long blade with a Spear-Point profile, crafted from CPM-S35VN steel renowned for superior toughness, wear, and corrosion resistance. Finished with a Black Stonewash for added durability, the handle incorporates a reliable Liner Lock mechanism and elegant Cuibourtia wood liners. Designed by the respected knifemaker Ben Petersen.
CPM-S35VN steel
A broad blade featuring a Spear-Point profile is crafted from premium CPM-S35VN stainless steel (the improved successor to S30V), forged through powder metallurgy. Renowned for its elevated corrosion resistance, outstanding edge retention, easier sharpening, and superior resistance to chipping thanks to its finer grain structure, this steel enhances performance in demanding environments. A flat grind ensures excellent cutting efficiency. The blade's surface receives a Black Stonewash finish, effectively reducing glare and concealing light scratches.
Double-sided pin, liner lock, jimping
Equipped with a double-sided peg on the blade, the knife enables rapid and easy opening with either hand. Enhanced by a ceramic ball bearing in the main axis, deployment is smoother and more efficient. The Liner Lock mechanism secures the blade firmly in the open position, providing reliable safety during use. For improved blade control and secure thumb placement while making precise cuts, jimping (notches) has been integrated on the spine of the blade.
Cuibourtia wood facings, steel clip
Cuibourtia wood scales enhance the knife, complemented by a sturdy steel clip. The ergonomically contoured handle is crafted from G10 laminate, offering exceptional resistance to mechanical wear and harsh environmental elements. Thanks to its non-slip texture, the handle delivers a confident, reliable grip during operation. A lanyard hole at the handle’s base accommodates the threading of a safety line.
Daily carry convenience comes from a springy steel deep-carry clip (tip-up, right side), which secures the knife easily to a belt or the edge of a pocket.
