Wiley X Citadel Set 3in1 Tactical Glasses - Grey/Clear/Light/Matte Black

Black tactical eyewear equipped with lenses crafted from Selenite polycarbonate and a lightweight yet robust Triloid nylon frame. The interchangeable lens system enables rapid adjustment to varying lighting environments. Enhanced stability and a secure fit during movement are provided by rubber contact elements, including nose pads and temple tips. The package features frames, three interchangeable visors in assorted colors, an elastic strap, and a protective case.

durable visors made from polycarbonate

Crafted from shatterproof polycarbonate Selenite, the lenses deliver 100% protection against harmful solar radiation (UVA, UVB). An Anti-Fog coating ensures resistance to dust, dirt, oil, snow, and water, significantly simplifying cleaning compared to standard non-coated lenses. Enhanced with the T-Shell coating, the lenses offer outstanding scratch resistance. A broad visor and robust build guarantee not only reliable eye protection, but also a high level of comfort during wear.

contoured frames, non-slip temples, side shields

Anatomically shaped frames and lenses are crafted with HVP technology (High Velocity Protection), safeguarding the eyes from impacts caused by high-speed projectiles. Frames are constructed from robust Triloid material, ensuring durability and maintaining comfort even when wearing headphones or hearing protection. The glasses feature rubberized, non-slip temples and nose pads, providing a secure fit during use. Effortlessly attachable side shields comply with the ANSI Z87.1+ safety standard.

protection standards

  • ANSI Z87.1+ (High Mass Protection) - Under this standard, both the frame and lenses are required to endure the impact of a 0.5 kg object dropped from a height of approximately 130 centimeters.
  • ANSI Z87.1+ (High Velocity Protection) - Meeting this standard means the frame and visor are able to resist the force of a 6.35 mm diameter steel ball traveling at a velocity of 164.6 km/h (45 m/s).
  • MIL-PRF 32432A - In compliance with this standard, the frame and visor can withstand the impact of high-speed steel fragments moving at about 768–796 km/h (around 213–221 m/s), ensuring no complete penetration of the lens or detachment of components that could endanger the wearer.

The glasses are very comfortable and hold well. Nice glasses for the shooting range and beyond. For a wide head, the visor could be a bit wider. A good option, I recommend it!
