OpenBack system

The backpack features the OpenBack system, which provides access to the pack’s interior via a removable back panel. By detaching the shoulder straps and opening the zipper, users gain full access to the entire main compartment from the frame side—a notable advantage when transporting extensive gear. This design enables users to retrieve or store essential items in the pack without having to remove other contents.

Advanced SAS carrying system

The SAS (Semi Adjustable System) carrying system offers the ability to customize the backpack to fit individual body types. Featuring adjustable chest and hip belts, the system efficiently redirects weight to the hips, reducing strain on the spine. Backpack straps can be removed via buckles, and are fitted with loops for a hydration bladder tube. Both the straps and back panel are padded with a soft, breathable mesh, enhancing air circulation.

Flap closure and extended sleeve

Designed around a single, large main compartment secured with a flap and sleeve, the backpack provides ample storage space. Two adjustable straps with Fastex buckles fasten the flap, while the sleeve with drawstrings allows for expanded capacity when necessary. An additional upper pocket with a zipper is integrated into the flap, complemented by a Velcro panel for attaching patches or insignias.

MOLLE/PALS mounting system and ski loops

Equipped with mounting straps utilizing the MOLLE/PALS system, the backpack and its interior offer versatile options for attaching additional pouches and compartments. Extra external straps with buckles make it possible to secure bulky gear such as a sleeping pad, sleeping bag, or jacket. Open side pockets on either side of the backpack are designed to accommodate a water bottle or thermos, complemented by ski loops for added utility.

Rain cover and internal organizer

Within the backpack, you'll find an extra organizer featuring a mesh pocket along with a dedicated compartment designed for a water reservoir from the hydration system. The double-layered bottom conceals a rain cover that protects the backpack and its contents from rain or snow.

    Great backpack - durable, very comfortable and roomy. Even when fully loaded, it was super comfortable all day in the winter Tatra mountains. The side pockets allow you to fit an Esbit thermos even when the backpack is full. The back access system is average in my opinion - a cool idea, but you have to unclip 5 buckles and a zipper to get in, which is inconvenient.

    I spent a long time considering a backpack that was intermediate between small and large, and I chose the Silverfox II. It was a bullseye. Sturdy - construction and materials. It fits well on the back. You can attach pouches (including on the hip belt, which was important to me). The back opens, not the front like in many other backpacks, so if you want to access something deep inside, you don't lay the backpack down with the 'back side' on the ground and won't get dirty putting it on again. Thanks to the chimney extension, adjustable flap, and the straps on the flap, under the bottom, and on the sides, you can take much more than its nominal capacity allows. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

    A very well-made backpack (I didn't expect anything less from Wisport). Well thought out, and its opening back panel makes it easy to access the interior without creating a mess. The inside also has a nice organizer and an option to mount a hydration bladder. On the outside, there are many options for attaching additional equipment. So far, I've used it several times outdoors, and it's a very comfortable backpack that offers plenty of space. I recommend it.

    It really gives the impression of being very solidly made. Great functionality - extra pocket at the top, possibility to open like a suitcase, drawstring closure that allows the backpack to be expanded, many options to attach gear, internal organizer with Velcro, decent hip belt, side pockets for bottles.

    A backpack of very good quality as expected from Wisport. It seems to be indestructible equipment. A big advantage is the ability to open the backpack in such a way that all its contents are accessible. I replaced my Sparrow II 30l with this, along with additional pockets, and I can fit all my gear without any issues. Good option for BOBA (also in terms of color).

Additionally, the warranty offered by the manufacturer makes this a purchase that will last you a lifetime.
