Zero Tolerance 0512 Folding Knife

Spring-assisted knife equipped with a Clip-Point blade crafted from premium CPM Cru-Wear high-carbon tool steel, hardened to 63-64 HRC. The blade features a durable Cerakote coating that delivers superior abrasion and corrosion resistance along with enhanced impact strength.

automatic opening, locking, jimping

Pressing the Button Lock activates the spring mechanism, causing the blade to deploy automatically and securely engage in the open position. Aggressive jimping along the spine of the blade enhances grip, reducing the risk of fingers sliding forward onto the cutting edge.

ergonomic handle, spring clip

Designed with an ergonomically contoured handle in a two-piece construction, the model features Micarta composite scales in a brown finish for one section and titanium for the other. For secure and discreet carry, a durable deep-carry clip is integrated, enabling attachment to a belt, pocket edge, or other gear.

CPM CruWear feature
CPM CruWear
CPM CruWear is a high-performance powder steel developed by Crucible Industries. It is a tool steel that combines excellent wear resistance, high hardness, and fatigue resistance. It contains approximately 1.1% carbon, which gives it a hardness of 62-64 HRC after appropriate heat treatment, and high cutting edge retention. Thanks to its high vanadium (1.3%) and molybdenum (1%) content, CPM CruWear is characterized by high abrasion resistance, as well as increased strength and stability at high temperatures. The chromium content (7.5%) ensures very good corrosion resistance, making this steel relatively resistant to rust. CPM CruWear is commonly used in the manufacture of tools requiring exceptional wear resistance, such as tactical and premium knives, cutting tools, and dies.
Button Lock feature
Button Lock
Button Lock (also known as Plunge Lock) is a locking mechanism in folding knives based on a spring button. When fully opened, the tang enters a notch at the base of the blade and locks it in the working position; when closed, the same element acts as a detent. The design allows for smooth opening and closing with one hand and increases safety, as it does not require the user to place their fingers on the blade line. Thanks to its simplicity and reliability, the Button Lock is often used in EDC knives and collector's models.
Cerakote feature
Cerakote
Cerakote is an advanced ceramic-polymer coating applied to knife blades to increase their durability and give them a distinctive appearance. It forms a thin, opaque layer that does not alter the geometry or balance of the blade, while ensuring high durability. Its matte, non-reflective finish, available in a variety of colors, makes it a popular choice for tactical and outdoor knives. The coating is resistant to impact, chipping, and abrasion, effectively protecting the steel in demanding conditions. In corrosion tests (Salt Spray ASTM B-117), it retains its properties for thousands of hours, protecting the blade from rust and oxidation. It is also resistant to chemicals, including cleaning agents and solvents.
Micarta feature
Micarta
Micarta is a composite material made of layers of fabric (including canvas, linen, and paper) soaked in resin and pressed under high pressure and temperature. It is characterized by high mechanical strength, resistance to impact, abrasion, and changing weather conditions, as well as dimensional stability, which makes it ideal for knife handles. The surface of Micarta provides a secure grip and can be finished smooth or left with a slight texture to improve control over the tool. The material does not conduct heat or electricity, tolerates contact with moisture well, and acquires a characteristic patina over time, emphasizing the individual style of the knife. Thanks to its combination of durability, environmental resistance, and unique appearance, Micarta is widely used in EDC, outdoor, and collector's knives.

The spring is strong and you can feel a kick when opening. Everything fits perfectly, with good materials. For those expecting a bit more from a knife, it will be a good choice.
