Zero Tolerance 0512OL Spring Knife - Olive

Spring-assisted knife with an overall length of 203 mm, featuring an 88 mm blade with a Clip-Point shape, crafted from CPM Cru-Wear tool steel, known for exceptional durability and superior wear resistance. Finished with a Cerakote blade coating. Equipped with a Button Lock and fitted with green micarta handle scales.

CPM-CruWear tool steel

CPM-CruWear is a premium powder metallurgy tool steel recognized for outstanding wear resistance and long-lasting edge retention. Highly resistant to impact, it handles demanding tasks with minimal risk of chipping. With precise heat treatment, it delivers commendable corrosion resistance for a tool steel, though routine care remains necessary.

Clip-Point profile blade, flat grind, Cerakote coating

A blade with a Clip-Point profile, engineered to deliver superior tip strength while offering precise cutting control. Especially suited for tactical and EDC scenarios, this profile excels where high penetration performance must be paired with maximum blade handling capability.

Equipped with a flat grind, the model offers enhanced durability against damage. A continuous curve along the cutting edge improves efficiency during slicing tasks. Protected by a matte black Cerakote finish, the blade resists scratches, shields against corrosion, and minimizes unwanted reflections.

ergonomic Micarta handle, resilient clip

Designed with a two-piece ergonomic handle, the model features Micarta composite scales in green on the first section and a second section crafted from titanium with a matte black Cerakote finish that enhances resistance to scratches and corrosion. Featuring a durable deep-carry clip (tip-up, right/left carry), the knife can be securely and comfortably attached to a belt, pocket edge, or other gear components.

automatic opening, lock, jimping

The Button Lock system governs both the deployment and retraction of the blade. By simply pressing the button, the blade deploys automatically for smooth, one-handed operation. This mechanism firmly secures the blade in the open position for reliable safety during use. Enhanced jimping along the blade spine delivers improved control and effectively reduces the chance of your fingers slipping toward the edge.

CPM CruWear feature
CPM CruWear
CPM CruWear is a high-performance powder steel developed by Crucible Industries. It is a tool steel that combines excellent wear resistance, high hardness, and fatigue resistance. It contains approximately 1.1% carbon, which gives it a hardness of 62-64 HRC after appropriate heat treatment, and high cutting edge retention. Thanks to its high vanadium (1.3%) and molybdenum (1%) content, CPM CruWear is characterized by high abrasion resistance, as well as increased strength and stability at high temperatures. The chromium content (7.5%) ensures very good corrosion resistance, making this steel relatively resistant to rust. CPM CruWear is commonly used in the manufacture of tools requiring exceptional wear resistance, such as tactical and premium knives, cutting tools, and dies.
Button Lock feature
Button Lock
Button Lock (also known as Plunge Lock) is a locking mechanism in folding knives based on a spring button. When fully opened, the tang enters a notch at the base of the blade and locks it in the working position; when closed, the same element acts as a detent. The design allows for smooth opening and closing with one hand and increases safety, as it does not require the user to place their fingers on the blade line. Thanks to its simplicity and reliability, the Button Lock is often used in EDC knives and collector's models.
Cerakote feature
Cerakote
Cerakote is an advanced ceramic-polymer coating applied to knife blades to increase their durability and give them a distinctive appearance. It forms a thin, opaque layer that does not alter the geometry or balance of the blade, while ensuring high durability. Its matte, non-reflective finish, available in a variety of colors, makes it a popular choice for tactical and outdoor knives. The coating is resistant to impact, chipping, and abrasion, effectively protecting the steel in demanding conditions. In corrosion tests (Salt Spray ASTM B-117), it retains its properties for thousands of hours, protecting the blade from rust and oxidation. It is also resistant to chemicals, including cleaning agents and solvents.
Micarta feature
Micarta
Micarta is a composite material made of layers of fabric (including canvas, linen, and paper) soaked in resin and pressed under high pressure and temperature. It is characterized by high mechanical strength, resistance to impact, abrasion, and changing weather conditions, as well as dimensional stability, which makes it ideal for knife handles. The surface of Micarta provides a secure grip and can be finished smooth or left with a slight texture to improve control over the tool. The material does not conduct heat or electricity, tolerates contact with moisture well, and acquires a characteristic patina over time, emphasizing the individual style of the knife. Thanks to its combination of durability, environmental resistance, and unique appearance, Micarta is widely used in EDC, outdoor, and collector's knives.
