Baofeng UV-5R EU Mini 1600 mAh Radio - Camo
The Baofeng UV-5R EU Mini stands out as a compact, handheld Duobander (dual-band) transceiver offering up to 5 W of output power. Outfitted with a DTMF keypad, an LCD display, an integrated flashlight, and a built-in FM radio, the unit is engineered for versatility. Power is supplied via a 1600 mAh lithium-ion battery that features a convenient USB-C charging port.
Dual Watch function, Bluetooth module, VOX function
The Baofeng UV-5R EU Mini two-way radio offers a Dual Watch feature, enabling users to listen to two channels at once. Communication can take place on the primary frequency while concurrently monitoring another channel. Channel switching is handled through a dedicated button.
Featuring a color display, an integrated flashlight, and a built-in FM radio, the device delivers enhanced field versatility. A keypad lock further supports secure operation.
Programming the radio is possible via the keypad, computer, or through a specialized Bluetooth application. Thanks to the integrated Bluetooth module, configuration and setting adjustments can be managed wirelessly from a smartphone, ensuring quick and user-friendly operation.
With the VOX feature, voice transmission activates automatically, eliminating the need to press the PTT button and making hands-free communication much easier.
CTCSS and DCS Tones
The CTCSS and DCS tones function in both normal and invert operating modes. These systems remove unwanted transmissions, enabling users to receive only signals containing the assigned tone or code, which maintains a reliable communication channel and minimizes interference.

-
Good value for the price. The range in open areas is very decent, and the configuration—although it takes a moment—offers plenty of options. It works well in the field and on trips.
-
For its size, the radio works really well. The range is satisfactory, operation is simple, and the battery easily lasts for extended use.
-
Small, lightweight, and surprisingly functional. It performs well in the field, and the distinctive color makes it easy to quickly find the equipment. Big plus for the possibility of charging via USB-C, so you don't have to carry an extra charger.
-
The radio is limited to frequencies of 144, 146, 380, and 400 MHz. It cannot transmit outside of these bands, nor can it be unlocked. It does not support transmission on PMR and commercial frequencies, which we use at work.
