Carinthia D 600X Large Left Sleeping Bag - Black
Durable sleeping bag in black, with a mummy-type design, ensuring a comfortable body position and unrestricted movement during sleep. The outer layer is made of high-quality Shellproof Ultra material, while the inner layer is made of Shelltex Ultra material. The D 600X model is filled with 95/5 CQ-Down snow goose down. The version with a left-side zipper in size L measures 230 x 82 x 53 cm.
Temperature ratings and conditions of use
The temperature ratings of the Carinthia D 600X sleeping bag are specified in accordance with ISO 23537-1/EN 13537:
- T-comfort: -5 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
- T-limit: -12 degrees Celsius - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -32 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which survival in the sleeping bag is possible. This is not a value recommended for standard use.
Shellproof Ultra and Shelltex Ultra material
The outer side uses lightweight and durable Shellproof Ultra material with a Rip-Stop structure coated with a polyurethane (PU) layer, which helps limit moisture penetration into the sleeping bag and allows moisture to escape to the outside. The inside uses lightweight Shelltex Ultra material, which is characterised by high breathability and hydrophobic properties, providing greater sleeping comfort. In addition, its special structure limits the escape of the natural filling to the outside.
G-Loft, 95/5 CQ-Down filling
The D 600X model is filled with 95/5 CQ-Down snow goose down, which is very lightweight, provides very good thermal insulation and offers high loft of 600 cuin (cubic inches). The down is placed in H-shaped chambers, which prevent it from shifting and ensure even protection against the cold. The DIScover system (Dry Insulation System) protects the filling against moisture by using the external construction of the sleeping bag. It reduces the build-up of condensed water vapour in the down, which helps preserve its thermal insulation properties.
Left-side zipper, Anti Snag system
The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zipper positioned on the left side, allowing it to be fully unzipped. Thanks to the Anti Snag system, the fabric does not catch in the zipper. A velcro flap placed at the top of the zipper prevents it from coming undone during sleep. Inside there is a small pocket for storing small items.
Integrated hood for protection against the cold
The built-in hood in the sleeping bag increases thermal protection by wrapping around the head and preventing heat loss in low temperatures. Its shape also provides additional protection against wind and moisture.
Convenient transport and storage
When packed, the sleeping bag takes up little space, which makes transport and storage easier. Its dimensions when packed are 21 x 21 cm, and it weighs only 1100 g, making it easy to carry without excessively burdening your luggage.

An additional advantage is the second, detachable outer layer, which allows for quick removal of water or ice accumulating between the layers.
