Cold Steel Knife Drop Point Specter Reboot CPM 20CV

Folding EDC (Every Day Carry) knife featuring a Drop-Point style blade. Crafted from 20CV stainless steel, the blade is enhanced with a black PVD coating for added durability. A Liner Lock mechanism secures the blade during use. The ergonomically designed handle scales are constructed from carbon fiber for a lightweight yet robust grip. A deep-carry clip ensures secure and comfortable carry of the knife.

20CV Steel

Forged from premium 20CV steel and hardened to 58-61 HRC, the blade stands out for its superior corrosion resistance and outstanding ability to retain sharpness over extended periods. Enhanced with vanadium and molybdenum, the blade achieves remarkable wear resistance, greatly extending its service life.

Drop-Point Blade, PVD Protective Coating

Featuring an elongated, slender Drop-Point blade, the knife utilizes a hollow grind to deliver excellent cutting efficiency and prolonged sharpness retention. A black, matte PVD coating adds further resistance to corrosion and minimizes glare.

Ergonomic Carbon Fiber Handle

Handle scales crafted from carbon fiber offer both lightweight performance and exceptional strength. An ergonomically contoured form and a non-slip textured surface provide a firm, secure hold. Structural resilience is enhanced with titanium bolsters, lending additional reinforcement. For dependable handling, jimping along the thumb rest ensures precise control during use.

Convenient Opening, Liner Lock, Spring Clip

Equipped with a convenient thumb stud, the knife enables rapid and effortless deployment of the blade with one hand. A reliable Liner Lock secures the blade in place while open, providing dependable safety during operation. For comfortable everyday carry, a spring deep-carry clip is attached to the handle, making it easy to clip the knife to a belt or the edge of a pocket.

CPM 20CV feature
CPM 20CV
CPM 20CV is a premium powder metallurgy tool steel with very good corrosion and wear resistance. It contains approximately 1.9% carbon, which allows for high hardness and edge sharpness. The high chromium content (2%) ensures stainless properties. Additionally, it contains: vanadium (4%), molybdenum (1%), tungsten (0.6%), silicon (0.9%), and manganese (0.3%). Thanks to powder technology, the steel has a very fine and homogeneous microstructure, which facilitates easier processing and uniform properties throughout the cross-section. After hardening, it achieves a hardness of 59-61 HRC and retains its sharpness for a long time, which makes it often used in premium knives, EDC, and tools requiring the highest durability.
Carbon Fiber feature
Carbon Fiber
Carbon fiber is a composite material that is exceptionally light and very strong, considered one of the most advanced materials used in knife manufacturing. It is made of thin carbon fibers embedded in epoxy resin, which are then pressed and hardened to form an extremely rigid and resistant structure. Used in knife handles, it provides high resistance to mechanical damage, is not affected by moisture or extreme temperatures, and is chemically inert and non-conductive. It is distinguished by its characteristic layered weave, which gives each handle a unique appearance, particularly valued in premium knives.
PVD - Physical Vapor Deposition feature
PVD - Physical Vapor Deposition
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating is a modern technology for applying ultra-thin layers of metal in a vacuum, which significantly increases the durability of knives. Thanks to this, the blade becomes highly resistant to scratches, abrasion, and corrosion, while gaining a matte surface that reduces glare. This process allows for aesthetic finishes in various colors, from deep black to gold, which do not wear off like classic paint. As a result, the knife retains its great appearance and full functionality even with intensive use.
