Складаний ніж Cold Steel SR1 Spear Point S35VN
Engineered for everyday carry (EDC), the folding knife draws inspiration from the legendary Survival Rescue Knife (SRK). Conceived by American knifemaker Andrew Demko, the knife boasts a Spear-Point blade forged from CPM S35VN powdered steel, renowned for its impressive corrosion resistance and complemented by a satin finish that lends the blade a refined look. The handle, showcased in green hues, is constructed from G10 laminate with a non-slip texture for secure handling. Deployment is achieved via a double-sided thumb stud, while the durable Tri-Ad Lock mechanism provides both safety and stability during use.
High-quality CPM S35VN powdered steel
Forged from CPM S35VN powdered steel, the blade offers outstanding corrosion resistance and exceptional edge retention. Thanks to optimal heat treatment, the steel attains a hardness of 58-61 HRC, enabling the cutting edge to stay razor-sharp for prolonged use, ensuring dependable performance for daily tasks.
Spear-Point blade with a satin finish
Featuring a blade with a Spear-Point profile, the design boasts a length of 101 mm and a thickness of 5 mm. A smooth cutting edge has been engineered with a high flat grind for optimal performance. Enhanced with a semi-matte satin finish, the blade resists minor scratches and reduces glare. Recognized for its symmetrical contours and narrow, sharp tip, the Spear-Point offers exceptional cutting accuracy and superior piercing capability.
Ergonomically profiled G10 handle, reversible clip
The handle features G10 laminate, produced from multiple layers of fiberglass reinforced with epoxy resin. Recognized for exceptional strength, moisture resistance, and a lightweight build, this material delivers reliable performance. An ergonomically contoured, non-slip design incorporates a compact single-sided cross guard, effectively shielding the hand from accidental slippage onto the blade. Additional jimping on the spine of the handle enhances grip and control during detailed tasks.
A steel tip-up clip is mounted on the knife, and its position can be adjusted to either side of the handle for comfortable carry by both left- and right-handed users.
Strong Tri-Ad Lock, double-sided stud
Employing the Tri-Ad Lock system—an advanced iteration of the Back-Lock mechanism—this knife delivers superior resistance to dynamic stress. A strategically placed stop pin channels the blade's operational forces into the handle, enhancing overall durability, and making the mechanism one of the most robust available in folding knives. Over time, the lock mechanism self-adjusts, ensuring consistent stability during operation, while also providing secure prevention against accidental opening when the blade is closed.
Ambidextrous use is enabled through a stud positioned on both sides of the blade, offering effortless blade deployment for both left- and right-handed users.

I finally got my hands on the knife I've been wanting for a long time. The downside is the price, but I think everyone already sees that. On the other hand, the quality, durability, and overall feel of the knife somewhat make up for this downside. The lock used by Cold Steel (tri lock something) gives a sense of security when you hold it in your hand, there is no involuntary fear as with thin liner locks (Luzon!). The steel is good and the knife arrived acceptably sharp. I have a feeling this knife will accompany me for a long time.

Exactly what I wanted, strong construction, good quality materials, very comfortable handle. The G10 is very rough but will probably wear off a bit during use, the clip holds very tightly (too tightly).

Everything is great—the handle, the blade, even the length and the fairly good weight for such a chopper. Before purchasing, you just need to ask yourself if you need 5mm thickness in a folding knife. It will shatter more than one board into chips, but it’s not a knife even for emergency tomato slicing. You can do it, but only halfway ;)

Massive above all, great mechanically

Very good, sturdy knife, the raw shapes give it character. It opens smoothly and lightly, folding it with one hand is not a problem. I recommend this product.

If you want a sturdy folder, it's simple, get a Recon 1, but if even that seems too weak, not Heavy Duty enough... then the SR1 comes to the rescue, this knife is an indestructible folding pry bar, and one that cuts.
