A Velcro panel featuring a laser-cut "MED" marking enables fast recognition of the pouch and offers space for emblems, such as national flags, unit insignias, or Morale Patches.

Woodland, commonly referred to as U.S. Woodland or M81, represents a timeless camouflage design first adopted by the US Armed Forces in the early 1980s, deriving from the earlier ERDL pattern.
