I am very satisfied – the reviews I read were accurate. The backpack looks great, is durable and versatile – I have used it both on trips and for everyday use in the city. At first, I was surprised that the main compartment is not as spacious as I expected from its external appearance; however, the front pocket holds almost as much… This is not a drawback, you just have to get used to it – even larger items can easily fit into the front pocket (which distinguishes this backpack from other models, where the main compartment is large and the front pocket is small). Initially, I had doubts about the color – it was supposed to be coyote, but it looks like real brown (this is not a coyote tan shade!). The side bottle pockets are very practical – a 1.5-liter PET bottle fits freely, and you can grab a smaller 0.75-liter bottle without taking off the backpack – for me, this is the biggest advantage during longer hikes. I also rate the hip belt positively – often criticized in reviews, but although it is narrow and does not have padding (unlike the larger 30L version), it still provides good relief when carrying loads during walks.

+pros: as is usually the case with direct action, the equipment is exceptionally professional and in my opinion matches the best brands. The color (Ranger Green) is perfectly suited for both urban and operational use. The backpack has many practical, well-designed pockets and compartments, numerous loops, and plenty of options for attaching things on the outside. The geometry of the backpack and the side pockets with the Molle system have also been excellently solved. The carrying system and back panel clearly stand out compared to other daypacks. After adjusting, the straps hold well and do not move, which cannot be said, for example, about the 5.11 Rush model. -cons: I have no remarks.

I really liked this backpack. It is very well made, solid, and durable – it definitely gives the impression of a bag that will easily last for many years on various trips. However, I have a few reservations that prevent me from giving it the maximum number of stars. First, the bottom compression straps are equipped with plastic buckles that cannot be detached or hidden, which means the backpack always rests on them when you set it down. Second, the backpack seems a bit less spacious than other models with the same stated capacity. How much you can fit depends on the type of items you pack – soft clothes fit well, but after packing a laptop, notebooks, a jacket, and extra gear, the backpack fills up quickly. The front compartment offers the most space, but if you load it up, the second compartment becomes cramped. Despite these inconveniences, the bag performs excellently in the conditions it was designed for, though not necessarily in an office or city setting. To sum up, I am very satisfied with the purchase – I give it four stars, and the biggest flaw remains the bottom buckles.

I was considering it and the Wisport MK2 30L. This one has better opinions and I have experience with the 40-liter Wisport. The hip belt does not fulfill its function. I chose the Dragon Egg and I am satisfied with it.

Great backpack. Thoughtful in every aspect. Solid material, lots of pockets, stiffened back, laptop compartment, roll-up and hideable straps. I only regret the lack of two-color versions. They looked great. However, the price is astronomical.

The Dragon Egg Mk. II backpack is an EDC and tactical hit! Capacity in a compact form, laser-cut MOLLE and a great carrying system. Ideal for the city and short trips. Durable and well thought-out, worth every penny.

The backpack description is misleading. Absolutely no laptop with dimensions 15.4"-15.6" fits in the back pocket. It's physically impossible. It's a pity because I was counting on it, but no luck. A fantastic backpack. The materials and workmanship are truly premium. I tested it especially during my round-trip tour to Japan. It worked brilliantly during a 15-hour flight, where I appreciated the number of small pockets and compartments for little things and accessories.
