Direct Action Dragon Egg 25-liter patrol backpack is designed for both tactical operations and everyday use. Constructed from highly durable 500D Cordura, it features a robust carrying handle crafted from 5 meters of paracord 550 for comfortable hand transport.
Dragon Egg incorporates 3 zippered compartments. The rear section accommodates a hydration system or a laptop up to 15.6” in screen size, secured by a padded sleeve for device protection.
The large main compartment is also suitable for a hydration system, equipped with a dedicated mount, tube, and mouthpiece port. An internal large mesh pocket offers additional storage.
The front section is fitted with a comprehensive organizer featuring two pockets, optimizing space for EDC items. An extra flat mesh pocket with a zip closure is found on the interior front panel.
Partially elastic side pockets are designed to hold water bottles. A velcro panel measuring 10 x 5 cm on the backpack’s front allows for attachment of patches or insignia, with a zippered flat pocket located beneath the velcro.
Dragon Egg features a laser-cut panel compatible with MOLLE/PALS systems. Thanks to its specialized shape, the backpack is more compact than others with similar capacity, facilitating use with ballistic vests and duty belts.
D-Rings on the straps and top of the backpack, along with daisy chain loops, provide points for securing accessories. Compression straps are located on the sides and base. Dependability is ensured by employing YKK zippers and Duraflex hardware from WooJin.
The carrying system includes ergonomically contoured, adjustable shoulder straps with quick-release capability, complemented by chest and waist straps for optimal fit and stability. The back panel features the Combat Vent System, which enhances airflow by utilizing contoured foam with mesh covering and multiple air channels.

The color (Ranger Green) is perfectly suited for both urban and operational use. The backpack has many practical, well-designed pockets and compartments, numerous loops, and plenty of options for attaching things on the outside. The geometry of the backpack and the side pockets with the Molle system have also been excellently solved. The carrying system and back panel clearly stand out compared to other daypacks. After adjusting, the straps hold well and do not move, which cannot be said, for example, about the 5.11 Rush model.
