Eberlestock Romad Backpack 25 l - MultiCam

Backpack with a capacity of 25 liters in MultiCam camouflage, made of 500D nylon resistant to abrasions and damage, reinforced with Rip-Stop weave. It was designed for communication system operators, soldiers, and users looking for functional equipment for field operations.

The 500D nylon used for production is characterized by high durability, making the backpack suitable for intensive use. The reinforcement of the material with Rip-Stop weave prevents tearing and fraying of the fabric, even in case of local damage. The material is coated with a DWR coating, which provides additional protection against moisture and dirt.

The wide U-shaped opening of the main compartment, which runs almost the entire length of the backpack, facilitates the organization of equipment and allows for quick access to needed items without the need to search the interior. Inside there is also a separate pocket designed for a hydration water tank. Furthermore, the interior is equipped with numerous PALS tapes and velcro straps allowing for the attachment of accessories compatible with the MOLLE system or equipped with velcro panels.

On the sides, there are elastic pockets allowing for convenient carrying of water bottles or other small items of equipment. On the front of the backpack, there are two zippered organizational pockets. The upper pocket is intended for items requiring quick access, such as documents, maps, notebooks, or small accessories. The lower pocket is lined, making it suitable for the transport of night vision, hearing protectors, or other delicate equipment.

The model features numerous MOLLE system tapes allowing for the attachment of additional equipment. The rectangular velcro on the front allows for the attachment of any patch or emblem, for example, a national flag, unit emblem, or the so-called Morale Patches.

The internal frame made of HDPE plate is responsible for adequate structural support. This technology increases the backpack's rigidity, improves weight distribution, and enhances comfort when carrying heavier loads. This ensures the backpack retains stability even during dynamic movement.

The shoulder straps are equipped with tapes, allowing for the safe routing of radio cables, headset wires, and hydration system hoses. The carrying system is equipped with ergonomic panels of breathable air-mesh mesh, which improves ventilation and reduces moisture accumulation during long hours of use.

MultiCam is a modern camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) under the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a universal camouflage pattern that is effective in diverse terrain and changing environmental conditions.

The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown, and beige. This allows it to dynamically adapt to the background, taking on shades of green in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in Central and Eastern European environments, it works particularly well in the autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the United States Army as a camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available for civilian users, making it a popular choice among military enthusiasts and airsoft players.
