Premium-grade military jacket in Earth Brown/Black, manufactured by Polish brand Helikon-Tex. Inspired by the iconic M65 design, long adopted by the U.S. Army since the Vietnam War era. Constructed from highly durable DuraCanvas fabric, the material offers protection against light rain and wind, ensuring reliable performance in autumn and winter conditions. Reinforced nylon panels made of Versastrech with elastane are strategically positioned above the chest pockets and at the elbows for added flexibility and durability. The hood also features the same advanced material.

Constructed from rugged DuraCanvas fabric, composed of 65% polyester, 33% cotton, and 2% elastane, the jacket ensures exceptional resistance to abrasion and wear. The material offers effective protection from light rain and wind, while the inclusion of elastane enhances flexibility and comfort during wear. Inside, a lining made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton further improves overall comfort.

Practical and spacious pockets

The jacket features a total of 11 functional pockets for enhanced practicality:

  • two external chest pockets designed for easy access to official gear (secured with buttoned flaps)
  • two external hip pockets, suitable for use as dump pouches (secured with buttoned flaps)
  • two internal compartments for magazines (equipped with zippers)
  • an internal pocket on the left chest beneath the windproof flap (zippered closure)
  • a zippered pocket located on the left forearm
  • two external rear pockets fastened with velcro
  • a unique internal pocket that can be detached and converted into a waist bag (secured with a zipper)

Strong closure and quick release function

Primary closure is secured by durable Canadian buttons and a YKK zipper featuring a quick-release function, enabling swift unfastening of the jacket for immediate access to a weapon or essential gear. A hood concealed within the collar offers reliable protection from cold and rain.

    This jacket pleasantly surprised me. I already have the Helikon M-65, but I was looking for something more stylish for the city and work. The jacket has a lining, so it's not as light as I expected, which means it probably won't be suitable for hot weather. It has a lot of pockets—even more than I need, but I consider that a plus. It's quite fitted, although there is no drawstring at the waist. The material looks solid, similar to the fabric of the Pilgrim model. The jacket looks good, is comfortable to wear, and costs less than other jackets of this type, so it's really a worthwhile purchase. I'm 180 cm tall and weigh 74 kg, and I chose size M. You can wear it over several layers, but it fits well even over just a shirt.

    Very good material, lots of pockets, very well made. The sizing is quite specific - 175 cm/~80 kg - size S fits perfectly. Size M was surprisingly too roomy. A jacket for autumn/spring. Quite breathable, without the effect of a heavy outer layer. Unlike the standard M65, it is less roomy and better tailored for slim builds. A very versatile cut/style - ash grey goes well with both a fleece and a shirt.

    In my opinion, it’s a cool option, though it could use a bit of ventilation like in the company’s other jackets, as well as drawstrings in the middle and at the bottom. Still, considering its different intended use, even a nice fast setup fits in, and although there seems to be space only for 9mm magazines, that’s a downside if you want to carry them on the side where the hook-and-loop pockets are. A great feature is the waist bag in the inner pocket, where you can hide documents and more. I recommend the green-and-black color because it really looks awesome 😀

    I bought this jacket with the period from autumn to spring in mind—for light trips, walks with the dog, and as a versatile winter outer layer for the city and the trail. I probably wouldn’t take it on more demanding expeditions because it is a bit heavy, but for relaxed camping and campsite use it works great. It keeps you warm and offers plenty of functional pockets. It does not have a removable lining, but the hood can be tucked into the collar. At 179 cm tall and 84 kg, I chose size L, which turned out to be slightly too big, though the adjustable cuffs make up for that—in winter I can easily wear extra layers underneath, and for shorter outings I often manage even without gloves. Velcro was replaced with buttons, so I think this jacket will serve me well for many years to come.

    For better understanding: I am 1.76 m tall, weigh 87 kg, and have a chest circumference of 112 cm. I needed a jacket for transitional weather. I chose size M (EU), because previously, with the Woodsman Shirt from Helikon-Tex in size L (EU), I had to shorten the sleeves by 3 cm, but here in M, that's not the case. A regular t-shirt under the jacket is no problem. However, when I put on a flannel shirt, the sleeves are a bit tight (maybe because the jacket is new). When I also added a fleece vest over the shirt, I could fasten the jacket, but I felt definite pressure. The large number of pockets is a definite advantage, but in my opinion, the front lower pockets could be about 2 cm deeper. I have to wait until autumn to really find out if this was the right jacket choice.
