I've had the knife for over a year and I am very satisfied with it. The blade holds sharpness well, and thanks to the handle, the knife is light and I don’t feel it while carrying, and at the same time it doesn't feel like anything will break. I recommend it.
Ka-Bar Dozier Folding Hunter Knife - Foliage Green
Folding knife with a total length of 184 mm, featuring a 76 mm long blade with a Drop-Point profile made of AUS-8A stainless steel, known for its optimal durability, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. The blade is coated with a black finish. The handle features a Back Lock and scales made of damage-resistant Zytel plastic in Foliage Green. The knife is designed by American knifemaker Bob Dozier.
AUS-8A stainless steel
AUS 8A is a stainless steel that, when properly heat-treated, offers a favorable compromise between hardness, chipping resistance, and ease of re-sharpening. It is resistant to corrosion, and the addition of molybdenum and vanadium enhances hardenability and cutting edge stability during everyday use. Hardened to a hardness range of 56-58 HRC.
Drop-Point blade profile, flat grind
Blade with a Drop-Point profile, designed for maximum tip strength. This profile is particularly effective in outdoor and EDC applications, where a combination of high piercing ability and optimal control over the blade is required. The spine of the blade features jimping (grooved surface) for a secure thumb rest and increased control over the blade during cuts.
The model features a hollow grind, ensuring high cutting efficiency. The blade is coated with a black finish that provides high scratch resistance and reduces light reflections.
Zytel handle, spring steel clip
The scales of the ergonomically contoured handle are made of damage-resistant Zytel plastic in Foliage Green. A spring steel clip in the tip-up position ensures comfortable daily carrying by allowing easy attachment of the knife to a belt or pocket edge. The clip is mounted on the right side and can be switched to the left side. The end of the handle features a lanyard hole for attaching a safety cord.
double-sided thumb stud, Back Lock
The blade features a double-sided thumb stud that allows easy opening with either the right or left hand. A Back Lock secures the blade in the open position. This is currently one of the most stable and durable locks available for folding knives. Additionally, this lock effectively prevents the knife from accidentally opening when closed.

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Ka-Bar.
Ka-Bar is a brand whose history dates back to the late 19th century, and which gained real fame during World War II, when the Fighting Utility model was officially adopted by the US Marine Corps. The durable and versatile knife quickly became legendary, proving itself both in combat and in the daily tasks of soldiers. The name Ka-Bar itself comes from the 1920s, when a trapper described in a letter how he managed to “kill a bear” with a Union Cutlery knife. In 1952, wanting to emphasize the power of this symbol, the company officially changed its name to Ka-Bar Knives Inc., and its products are still considered a model of reliability today. An important chapter in the brand's history is also its collaboration with Ethan Becker, which resulted in the Becker series, highly valued by users, combining practical solutions with a modern approach to knife design.

Small, more for the city than the wilderness. Any pocket knife from company "V" has similar capabilities.

Light, fits well in the hand. Looks nice if that matters to someone ;) Initially hard to open, but that's just a matter of time and it will break in. I recommend it.
