Beautiful, elegant, and slim folder, winner of the "best buy" award at BladeShow 2023. The blade is correctly centered in the scales in both open and closed positions, with a symmetrical grind. In short— a well-made product. The incredibly smooth operation of the knife is due to ball bearings, combined with well-placed thumb studs on the blade and the Axis Lock (here called Dura Lock), which allows for several different ways to open the knife, making it an excellent candidate for a collection for someone looking for a "fidget knife" (a knife you can play with to keep your hands busy when bored). I highly recommend it.

Kershaw is an American knife brand, founded in 1974 by Pete Kershaw in Oregon, which from the very beginning has focused on the highest quality and practical solutions for hunters, anglers, and everyday users. In 1977, the company was acquired by the Japanese Kai Group, allowing it to combine American innovation with Japanese craftsmanship. In 1998, Kershaw revolutionized the market by introducing the SpeedSafe assisted opening mechanism, and in the following years won prestigious Blade Show awards for models such as the Tyrade with Composite Blade technology combining two different types of steel. The brand is also known for its collaboration with renowned knifemakers, including Ken Onion, Ernest Emerson, and Rick Hinderer, which has resulted in iconic models such as the Leek and Cryo.
