Red Dot One Chimera RX T-comfort: +4 deg. C Sleeping Bag - Olive

Sleeping bag in olive color, with a mummy construction, providing comfortable body position and unrestricted movement during sleep. Intended for use in spring and autumn. Made from durable polyester, its bottom part ensures water resistance at 12000 mm/m2. Inside the sleeping bag, RX Alu technology is applied, which is based on a layer reflecting the heat produced by the body, significantly enhancing thermal comfort during use.

Sleeping bag usage temperatures defined according to EN 13537 standard:

• T-comfort: +4 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
• T-limit: -1 deg. C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
• T-extreme: -17 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which survival in the sleeping bag is possible. This is not a recommended value for standard use.

The outer layer of the sleeping bag is made of polyester, providing high resistance to mechanical damage and abrasion. The interior of the sleeping bag is finished with a soft, brushed polyester lining with a structure similar to flannel, ensuring thermal comfort and ease of use. Additionally, the bottom part of the construction is made from a material with enhanced water resistance at 12000 mm/m2, which effectively protects against ground moisture and morning dew.

The filling of the sleeping bag consists of synthetic microfiber polyester with a fine fiber structure, forming an effective thermal insulation layer while being lightweight. The material maintains its insulating properties in high humidity conditions, limits water absorption, and allows quick drying, increasing comfort of use outdoors. The insulation system is supported by RX Alu technology, which utilizes a reflective layer to bounce back the heat emitted by the user's body, increasing the sleeping bag's thermal efficiency by about 15%, without adding to the filling's volume.

The sleeping bag features ergonomics and ease of use. Profiled foot zone and expanded space around the chest and hips, provide high comfort during sleep. The sleeping bag weighs 1180 grams and compresses to dimensions of 26 x 16 cm, making it easy to carry in a trekking backpack or larger bag. An inner pocket allows storing small equipment, while four elastic loops provide stability for attaching the sleeping bag to uneven or sloping ground.

The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zipper secured with a thermal strip, preventing heat loss and snagging. Additionally, a glow-in-the-dark zip puller aids in operation under reduced visibility conditions. An adjustable hood allows fitting to the user and limits heat migration outside. Hood and collar drawstrings are made in different thicknesses to facilitate operation without vision. The Velcro panel located in the foot area and on the top of the sleeping bag, is intended for user identification or the mounting of reflective elements.
