Red Dot One Patriot RX T-comfort: -5 deg. C Sleeping Bag - Olive

Winter sleeping bag in olive color, mummy-style design, providing a comfortable body position and unrestricted movement during sleep. It is made of durable polyester, and its lower part provides waterproofing up to 12000 mm/m2. Inside the sleeping bag, RX Alu technology is applied, which relies on a layer reflecting heat generated by the body, significantly increasing thermal comfort during use.

Sleeping bag temperature ratings specified according to EN 13537 standard:

• T-comfort: -5 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably throughout the night,
• T-limit: -12 deg. C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
• T-extreme: -33 deg. C - the lowest temperature in which survival in the sleeping bag is possible. This value is not recommended for standard use.

The outer layer of the sleeping bag is made of polyester, which provides high resistance to mechanical damage and abrasion. The interior of the sleeping bag is finished with a soft, brushed polyester lining with a structure similar to flannel, ensuring thermal comfort and user convenience. Additionally, the lower part of the construction is made of material with enhanced waterproofing of up to 12000 mm/m2, effectively protecting against ground moisture and morning dew.

The sleeping bag filling consists of synthetic polyester microfiber with a fine fiber structure, creating an efficient thermal insulation layer with low self-weight. The material retains its insulating properties in conditions of increased humidity, limits water absorption, and allows quick drying, increasing convenience of use in the field. The insulation system is supported by RX Alu technology, utilizing a reflective layer to reflect heat emitted by the user's body, increasing the thermal efficiency of the sleeping bag by about 15% without increasing the fill volume.

The sleeping bag is characterized by ergonomics and user comfort. Contoured foot zone and expanded space in the chest and hip area, provide high comfort during sleep. The sleeping bag weighs 2150 grams and, when compressed, reaches dimensions of approximately 24 x 33 cm, allowing easy carrying in an expedition backpack or larger bag. An internal pocket allows storing small equipment, and four elastic stabilizing loops enable fixing the sleeping bag on uneven or inclined terrain.

The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zipper secured with a thermal strip, which prevents heat loss and avoids snagging. Additionally, a glow-in-the-dark zipper pull makes it easier to use in limited visibility conditions. An adjustable hood allows user fitting and restricts heat migration outside. Hood and collar drawstrings are made in different thicknesses, making them easier to handle without sight. A Velcro panel located in the foot area and at the top of the sleeping bag is intended for user identification or mounting reflective elements.
