Great system: filter + bottle. You draw water and, while drinking, physical, biological (including viruses), and many chemical contaminants are filtered out.
A lightweight and compact bottle equipped with a filter capable of eliminating up to 99% of bacteria and contaminants from water. The advanced filtration system allows the container to be replenished from tap water, as well as rain, snow, hail, or natural sources such as rivers and lakes.
Crafted from robust, food-grade plastic derived entirely from 100% sugar cane—BPA Free (free from chemicals in the BPA phenol group) and fully 100% recyclable.
The cutting-edge Water-to-Go filtration technology, pioneered by NASA, leverages nanotechnology alongside aluminum oxide particles. This innovative filter can purify up to 200 liters of water.
Water-to-Go filters effectively eliminate the following contaminants:
- bacteria (including e.coli, typhoid, cholera, dysentery, and botulism-causing bacteria),
- viruses (such as polio, hepatitis A, enteroviruses, reoviruses, and others),
- heavy metals (such as lead, chromium, mercury, nickel, aluminum, copper, iron),
- volatile organic compounds (e.g., formaldehyde).

I used the bottle to filter and drink water from rivers in Iceland. And I’m still alive, so I guess it works. The water didn't have a plastic smell, but it also wasn’t kept in the bottle for too long, at most a few hours.

Water-to-Go Sugarcane Filter Bottle 550 ml Black: Filtered about 20L of water from a river and tap water in South America. No health problems at all, and I didn’t notice any change in the taste of the water due to filtering. Pros: -The bottle is very well made, sturdy and flexible -A really good alternative to buying bottled water -The bottle is flexible enough to allow you to filter water into another, spare bottle for example Cons: -To drink, you need to continuously suck water from the bottle (it doesn’t flow freely like from a sports bottle)
