tool steel o2 and satin finishing

Manufactured from premium stainless steel 1.4116S, the knife blade is hardened to a toughness of 59-61 HRC. This steel type offers excellent resistance to corrosion. The blade features a refined satin finish.

blade with a Drop-point profile, flat grind, proper balance

Equipped with a blade showcasing a Drop-Point profile, a plain cutting edge, and a total length of 90 mm. The blade utilizes a flat grind for enhanced performance. A single-sided cross guard provides reliable protection and stability during operation.

Optimized blade balance enhances overall knife control. The weight, distributed evenly between the handle and blade, delivers greater cutting accuracy and minimizes hand fatigue during prolonged tasks.

Handle scales made from durable G10 laminate

Featuring an ergonomically contoured handle crafted from black G10 laminate, the construction offers superior resistance to moisture, sudden temperature fluctuations, and the majority of solvents and acids. The handle also demonstrates exceptional durability against mechanical impacts.

A textured finish on the scales guarantees a solid and reliable grip throughout knife operation.

sheath included

Included in the set is a durable yet lightweight Kydex sheath, designed for easy belt carry of the knife. Numerous mounting holes are strategically positioned to accommodate Tek-Lok attachment.

1.4116S feature
1.4116S
1.4116S (commercial equivalent of 14C28N steel) is a stainless steel with good hardness and corrosion resistance, belonging to the martensitic steel group. It contains approximately 0.45-0.55% carbon, which gives it a hardness of 55-58 HRC after appropriate heat treatment, as well as relatively good abrasion resistance. The chromium content of 14-15% ensures very good resistance to rust and oxidation. Additionally, it contains manganese (0.6%), silicon (0.2%) and a small amount of phosphorus and sulfur. 1.4116S is valued for its ease of sharpening and maintenance, as well as for its relatively good balance between hardness, corrosion resistance, and edge durability, making it suitable for the production of medium-hardness knives, kitchen knives, and tools.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Kydex feature
Kydex
Kydex is a thermoplastic, durable material commonly used in the production of knife sheaths. It is resistant to impact, scratches, and changing weather conditions, and has very low moisture absorption. The sheaths are molded directly onto the knife, which guarantees a perfect fit, high durability, and complete safety—the blade remains securely in place even during dynamic movements. Due to its durability and customization options, Kydex has gained popularity in the tactical and survival industries. Sheaths are often equipped with additional mounting holes with metal eyelets, which increase their durability and allow for easy attachment of buckles, clips, or loops to a belt or harness.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
