Very good quality, the trousers are made of durable and comfortable material. The number and placement of pockets is well thought out, you can easily take everyday essentials with you. Especially the Velcro pockets are great—they fit both a small wallet and a phone; mine fits perfectly. The grey color and cut are very versatile and don’t give an immediate military impression. Highly recommended.
Helikon-Tex UTP PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop Pants - Duck Hunter
UTP (Urban Tactical Pants) are crafted from premium 220 g/m2 PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop fabric, renowned for exceptional abrasion and tear resistance. The abundance of pockets and their strategic placement make these pants highly functional for both urban environments and outdoor adventures.
Durable PolyCotton Stretch fabric, abrasion-resistant lining and Rip-Stop weave
Crafted from 220 g/m2 PolyCotton Stretch fabric, these pants are made with a blend of breathable cotton (50%), durable polyester (48%), and flexible elastane (2%). Offering a close, ergonomic fit, the material delivers exceptional abrasion and tear resistance, while being lighter and drying more quickly than pure cotton fabrics.
Rip-Stop technology incorporates thicker weave threads into a mesh structure that reinforces the fabric, effectively halting any damage from spreading further.
12 practical pockets and compartments for protective inserts
The pants feature twelve pockets for optimal organization and functionality:
- two classic hip-level pockets with reinforced edges,
- four on the thighs—two spacious ones secured with zippers and two slim ones closed with Velcro,
- four pockets on the back, including two large and two slim pockets placed inside the larger ones,
- as well as two inner pockets at the groin, ideal for carrying a tactical flashlight or an extra magazine.
Moreover, compartments located at knee level on the inside of the legs allow for the insertion of protective pads.
Wide velcro for width adjustment, elastic webbing, and loops for the equipment
Wide Velcro fastening replaces the traditional button, allowing for an adjustment range of up to 6 cm. To ensure a better fit that adapts to the user’s body shape, an elastic band has been integrated into the waistband. Both front belt loops feature additional attachment loops, ideal for securing accessories such as a carabiner.

PoliCotton fabric is a blend of polyester and cotton fibers featuring the best qualities of both yarns. Polyester provides strength and flexibility, while cotton provides softness and breathability.
Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.

I recently bought this model of pants and I think it's a very good choice. The sizing was spot on in my case. I did buy longer ones and shortened them, but I always do that just in case I need some fabric for patches later on. The summer pants are very functional, big plus for the pockets. The camouflage, so far... rarely seen in the field. The pants are cool. I recommend them.

These pants are fantastic, they're comfortable and thanks to the elastic waistband, my inner Rambo has come alive again. I'm saving up for another pair, have a nice day! The size matches the chart for me, so 105 in the waist and XXL are fine.

A bit expensive, but the higher price definitely comes with superior build quality and materials. A big plus for the variety of color options. This time, purchased as a gift.

Well, unfortunately, Helikon Tex, the company whose UTP pants I have been buying for years (I have many pairs in different colors and camouflages), is now releasing these pants with simply worse workmanship. It's not even about the labels on the recycled gray paper (that's just eco hysteria), but maybe it seems like a detail—however, for me it's very important as it reflects on the whole product and the company. The pockets in these pants are 3 cm shallower. The legs in UTP jeans are also narrower. Pants of this sort aren't skinny jeans for fashion catalog models. People can think what they want, but for me it's a significant downside for this manufacturer.

Very good trousers, the Erdl camouflage pattern is reliable. The trousers fit well, they are not too long, just a bit. Everything is positive, everything as it should be. I will definitely order more trousers with this camouflage.

Strong, quite flexible, a lot of pockets. I think that's why they're bought and they serve that purpose. The only downside I see is that the openings to the standard pockets are so tight that when sitting or driving, it's almost impossible to get anything out of them. I'm 175cm, 80kg and took size L so it wouldn't pinch.

I already have these Helikons in other colors, but this camouflage is amazing! It's great that the company decided to introduce it, and I hope they will eventually expand their range of products in this pattern. It's not a classic cargo pants cut and they're more expensive, but it's worth it, at least on promotion. They are more fitted and have more features, but practical ones, like elastic material in the areas that stretch the most or a changed pocket layout. They fit better than classic BDUs but are NOT TIGHT. They don't restrict movement and aren't too wide, yet they're not narrow either.

I am a fan of classic cargo pants and was a bit hesitant before buying these trousers, but eventually I decided to go for them. The 6 COLORS camouflage played a big part in this—I have always liked it. The trousers are very well made, nice material, they don't restrict movement, and the sizing is good. Pockets in various sizes offer a lot of possibilities. Overall, everything is positive, the trousers are worth their price.
