UTP (Urban Tactical Pants) are crafted from premium 220 g/m2 PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop fabric, known for exceptional resistance to abrasion and tearing. With multiple pockets and a thoughtfully designed layout, these pants deliver excellent functionality in both urban environments and during outdoor pursuits.

Durable PolyCotton Stretch fabric, abrasion-resistant lining and Rip-Stop weave

Crafted from 220 g/m2 PolyCotton Stretch material, these pants utilize a blend of breathable cotton (50%), highly durable polyester (48%), and flexible elastane (2%). Design ensures a close, ergonomic fit, while offering superior abrasion and tear resistance. The fabric remains lighter and dries more quickly compared to garments made entirely from cotton.

Reinforcement is provided by a thicker Rip-Stop weave, where robust threads create a grid pattern within the fabric, efficiently preventing small damages from expanding over a wider area.

12 practical pockets and compartments for protective inserts

Featuring twelve pockets, these pants offer exceptional storage capacity.

  • There are two traditional hip pockets with reinforced edges for enhanced durability,
  • four thigh pockets (including two spacious zippered compartments and two slimmer Velcro-secured slots),
  • four rear pockets (comprising two large ones and two smaller compartments set inside the larger ones),
  • along with two hidden internal pockets at the groin area, ideal for carrying a tactical flashlight or spare magazine.

Additionally, specialized compartments are located at knee height inside the legs, allowing the integration of protective inserts.

Wide velcro for width adjustment, elastic webbing, and loops for the equipment

Wide Velcro fastening replaces the traditional button, enabling adjustment of up to 6 cm. For better fit and comfort, an elastic band has been incorporated into the waistband, enhancing conformity to various body shapes. Both front belt loops include extra loops for convenient attachment options, such as securing a carabiner.

Rhodesian Camo

Rhodesian Camo represents a renowned camouflage design created in the 1960s for the Rhodesian Armed Forces, now known as Zimbabwe. Engineered specifically for regional combat operations, notably the Bush War (1964-1979), this pattern was tailored for the southern African terrain—characterized by arid bush, expansive grassy plains, and sparse vegetation. Recognizable by its distinctive hand-painted effect, which mimics the look of brushstrokes, the pattern features irregular, horizontal shapes in varying shades of green and brown, positioned against a light green or sandy backdrop. Crafted with a high-contrast three-tone color scheme and arranged to imitate natural features such as leaves, branches, and grasses, the camouflage efficiently breaks up the wearer’s outline and enhances concealment amid dense, vegetated surroundings.

    I recently bought this model of pants and I think it's a very good choice. The sizing was spot on in my case. I did buy longer ones and shortened them, but I always do that just in case I need some fabric for patches later on. The summer pants are very functional, big plus for the pockets. The camouflage, so far... rarely seen in the field. The pants are cool. I recommend them.

    The cut of the trousers is no different from the older version, so they suit me very well. The PolyCotton Stretch version is supposed to be more durable – we’ll see after a few washes. It is definitely more flexible than the older version. With a slight discount or promotion, you can buy them in bulk :)

    Well, unfortunately, Helikon Tex, the company whose UTP pants I have been buying for years (I have many pairs in different colors and camouflages), is now releasing these pants with simply worse workmanship. It's not even about the labels on the recycled gray paper (that's just eco hysteria), but maybe it seems like a detail—however, for me it's very important as it reflects on the whole product and the company. The pockets in these pants are 3 cm shallower. The legs in UTP jeans are also narrower. Pants of this sort aren't skinny jeans for fashion catalog models. People can think what they want, but for me it's a significant downside for this manufacturer.

    Strong, quite flexible, a lot of pockets. I think that's why they're bought and they serve that purpose. The only downside I see is that the openings to the standard pockets are so tight that when sitting or driving, it's almost impossible to get anything out of them. I'm 175cm, 80kg and took size L so it wouldn't pinch.
