Compact and lightweight folding knife crafted for daily EDC (Every Day Carry) applications
Featuring a Clip-Point blade profile constructed from D2 tool steel, known for its exceptional resistance to wear and mechanical stress. The blade utilizes a flat grind, hardened to 58-60 HRC, and comes with a Stonewash finish. Steel has undergone heat treatment in line with SOG's specialized low-temperature performance standards.
Deployment is made easy by a thumb stud or flipper. Jimping along the spine ensures a secure thumb placement for tool control, while the robust XR Lock mechanism prevents accidental closure.
Grip security is provided by textured G10 laminate handle scales, delivering a reliable hold in any situation. Everyday portability is enhanced with a flexible steel clip that can be attached to either side of the knife for left or right carry.

The knife is great. Good steel, well made, no play, relatively low weight. Excellent EDC knife. The lock is also a big plus. It also doesn't seem like it would open in your pocket—once I badly cut my hand that way. I’m taking off a star for the product not matching the listing, because it came with a different clip (long, thin, and without the SOG logo), but I decided this one could work too.

It is amazing! I’ve been thinking about getting a handy folder with good steel and assisted opening for a long time. I went for this SOG because of the crimson handles, D2 steel, and size. But I didn’t expect it to be so cool in real life! Opening it is so incredibly easy that you can forget about studs, flippers, even wrist flicks—this little guy opens and closes by gravity. It’s factory sharp, so be careful with your fingers while "clicking." The knife is light, handy, and comfortable in a pocket. I recommend it.
