The Sparrow II backpack is equipped with two roomy compartments. The primary compartment includes four D-rings attached to the rear panel, ideal for securing additional gear. Within the secondary compartment lies a modernized organizer, providing efficient storage for smaller essentials. Zippered mesh pockets are integrated into the main compartment for secure item placement. The top flap features a flat pocket spanning the main compartment’s size, with a depth of approximately 5 cm—perfect for maps, documents, or a compact laptop. An additional small pocket is positioned on the front of the flap.
A hydration bladder hanger is incorporated inside the pack, complemented by a drinking tube port and two loops—one situated on each shoulder strap—for attaching and securing hydration system components.
Secured by a two-way zipper that extends along three sides of the flap, the backpack ensures ample access to both the main and secondary compartments. All zippers feature high quality, wear-resistant construction and include textile pulls for effortless manipulation while wearing gloves or in demanding conditions. Cover flaps shield the zippers on the main compartments and front pocket, minimizing intrusion from water and debris.
The AFS - Air Flow System carrying system provides outstanding structural stability, superior carrying comfort, and efficient back ventilation. Enhanced comfort is achieved through quick-release, length-adjustable ergonomic shoulder straps combined with a chest and waist belt. The strap interiors are constructed from a high-density, snag-resistant fabric. At the back, a dedicated tunnel accommodates a compatible fiberglass frame (not included).
Both side panels are equipped with two adjustable straps featuring 30 mm fastex buckles for optimal compression and secure attachment of equipment such as a jacket, tarp, sleeping pad, or camouflage net. Positioned on top of the main compartment, a large, elongated transport handle ensures convenient portability.
MOLLE/PALS webbing is integrated onto the front, bottom, and sides, enabling the attachment of extra equipment or carrying essential items required for immediate access.
A velcro panel located on the front provides a secure area for affixing patches or emblems, including a national flag, unit insignia, or morale patches.
