Featuring a 65-liter capacity, this military backpack was created by the Wrocław-based manufacturer Wisport in collaboration with the commandos of the Special Commandos Unit (previously the 1st Special Commando Regiment) from Lubliniec. Drawing inspiration from the renowned Racoon series of backpacks in 45 and 65-liter sizes, the design strikes a balance between the volume and weight of equipment carried and the operator’s agility. Constructed from robust 500D Cordura in RAL 7013 shade, the pack offers a blend of generous storage, advanced functionality, and comfortable carry.
Constructed from abrasion-resistant 1000D Cordura and further strengthened with bar-tacked seams, the backpack offers exceptional resistance to mechanical damage, including abrasions and tears. Such rugged construction significantly enhances the pack’s durability in demanding field environments.
Main compartment with a 65-liter capacity can be separated into two sections: an upper section (about 2/3) and a lower section (about 1/3). An internal drawstring collar secures the contents and helps keep the load stable. The compartment is accessible from the top, front, and bottom via a removable base, making packing and unpacking much easier. On the lower rear side, a flat pocket allows for secure transport of a radio station, while above it, a mounting point is provided for a hydration bladder along with a dedicated exit for a tube or antenna. This opening is equipped with protection to prevent water from entering the interior.
Extra pockets for documents and maps along with hydration tube holders on the shoulder straps contribute to the versatility of the pack. The top lid can be removed and adjusted, and features two zippered compartments. A Velcro panel on the front allows for attaching identification or morale patches. Altogether, users have access to seven different pocket types, supporting gear management and enabling fast access to essential equipment.
A long external pocket on the front is equipped with double-sided MOLLE webbing, which can serve as an organizer. The pack comes with two removable 9-liter side pockets, as well as a rain cover stored in a pocket at the bottom secured by Velcro. Helmet straps are stowed in a small pocket located just above the zipper to the main compartment's bottom entry. Side transport handles and metal D-rings allow for easy attachment to ropes or vehicles, enhancing the practicality of the system.
Equipped with an aluminum frame and an adjustable suspension system (FAS Plus Ergonomic), the backpack is engineered for carrying heavy loads over extended periods with maximum comfort. It guarantees secure contact with the back while providing effective spinal and shoulder relief. Dual-plane system adjustability enables precise customization to the user's body shape and height. Ergonomically contoured shoulder straps, an extra-wide hip belt, and a chest strap optimize weight distribution, minimizing fatigue on long treks. Integrated reinforcements and the frame help the backpack maintain its structural integrity even when fully packed. A ventilated back section enhances airflow and decreases perspiration. Built for durability, the system withstands demanding conditions in the field. The hip belt is fully removable, while the shoulder straps are fitted with quick-release fastex buckles for rapid backpack deployment.
Outfitted with ITW Nexus and Duraflex buckles that are certified, and robust Wisport zippers for enhanced durability.
The front panel, sides, and lid feature MOLLE/PALS system straps designed for attaching extra gear. Utilizing the strap and compression strap system allows for securing equipment externally while ensuring internal contents remain stabilized within the backpack.
