Military backpack with a 65-liter capacity, designed by Wisport, a company based in Wrocław, in collaboration with operators from the Special Commandos Unit (formerly the 1st Special Commando Regiment) in Lubliniec. Drawing inspiration from the proven Racoon backpacks available in 45 and 65 liter variants, the backpack strikes a balance between gear weight, total capacity, and wearer mobility. Crafted from robust 500D Cordura in MAPA camouflage, the pack offers both generous storage and a high level of functionality and carrying comfort.
Constructed from abrasion-resistant 500D Cordura, the backpack offers additional durability thanks to bar-tacked seams. The material delivers superior protection against mechanical wear, such as abrasions and tears, substantially enhancing the backpack’s longevity and reliability in demanding field conditions.
The main compartment with a 65-liter capacity can be separated into two sections—an upper part (about 2/3) and a lower part (about 1/3). An internal drawstring collar helps keep contents secure and stabilizes the overall load. Access to the compartment is provided via the top, front, or bottom through a removable base, making unpacking significantly easier. In the lower section, along the back panel, a flat pocket ensures secure placement of a radio unit. Positioned above is a hydration system bag mount along with a dedicated port for a tube or antenna. The port is designed to prevent water from entering the pack.
Dedicated pockets for documents and maps and hydration tube attachments on the shoulder straps further enhance the pack's utility. The removable and adjustable top lid includes two zippered compartments, while the front features a velcro panel designed for attaching patches and customizing the bag. Seven different pocket types in total allow for efficient organization of equipment and fast access to essential items.
A large front pocket includes double-sided MOLLE webbing, allowing it to serve as an organizer. The backpack is equipped with two 9-liter detachable side pockets, plus an integrated rain cover stored in a pocket secured with velcro at the bottom. Helmet straps are stowed in a small pouch above the lower main compartment zipper. Side transport handles and metal D-rings offer additional options for securing the backpack to ropes or vehicles, increasing operational versatility.
Constructed with a durable aluminum frame and an adjustable carrying system (FAS Plus Ergonomic), the backpack is engineered for extended, comfortable transport of heavy loads. The design guarantees secure contact with the back and optimal reduction of pressure on the spine and shoulders. Adjustment in two directions enables a customized fit tailored to the user's height and physique. Anatomically contoured shoulder straps, a broad hip belt, and a chest strap enhance load distribution, minimizing fatigue during movement. Reinforced elements and the frame ensure the backpack maintains its shape, even under maximum capacity. A breathable back panel boosts airflow, lowering perspiration. The system is engineered to withstand demanding use in rugged environments. The hip belt is removable, and fastex quick-release buckles on the shoulder straps provide instant pack release.
Outfitted with ITW Nexus and Duraflex buckles, both certified for reliability, along with robust Wisport zippers for enhanced durability.
MOLLE/PALS system straps are integrated on the front, sides, and lid, providing options for attaching extra gear. The strap and compression strap system allows for exterior mounting of equipment and secures the backpack’s contents, maintaining internal stability.
A 5-year manufacturer's warranty applies to the backpack.
The MAPA camouflage pattern was developed by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and current faculty member at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, who is also the author of several publications, including Theory of Deconstruction of Visual Communication. Tools for designing military camouflage (Gdańsk 2015). The original concept, substantiated by robust theoretical and experimental research, including computer analysis of thousands of landscape photographs, quickly gained the attention of experts and producers of military apparel. Debuting in 2017 at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce, the MAPA camouflage was presented as part of the Dromader uniform system from Maskpol, a company within the Polish Armaments Group. Originally intended for the Territorial Defense Army, the MAPA camo was also considered as a future camouflage option for all branches of the Polish Armed Forces, potentially replacing the wz.93 pattern. Despite its promising features, the MAPA camouflage has yet to be adopted as the standard pattern by the Polish Army.

In several aspects, MAPA surpasses these patterns, offering improved replication of Central European forest colors, especially from late spring to early autumn.
