Polish design

Grzegorz "Kombou" Grabarski is a distinguished Polish knife designer whose creations are fueled by influences from pop culture, video games, the natural world, and biomechanics, blending cutting-edge aesthetics with futuristic, organic shapes. He previously worked with Brrr… Knives and now crafts his acclaimed designs in partnership with Bestech Knives, earning widespread international acclaim among knife collectors.

14C28N stainless steel

Constructed from 14C28N stainless steel, the knife blade benefits from a precisely optimized chemical composition, delivering high hardness. An ideal balance of nitrogen imparts corrosion resistance and strengthens edge retention. Carbon content enhances cutting performance, while chromium provides superior rust and oxidation resistance.

Drop-Point blade profile, jimping on the spine

Featuring a Drop-Point blade profile, the knife offers a robust tip, easy maintenance, and excellent cutting performance. The blade measures 94.4 mm in length with a thickness of 3.5 mm. Flat ground and finished with a satin finish, the blade provides optimal functionality. Jimping (textured notches) is integrated on the spine at the thumb rest, enhancing control and precision during use.

Convenient opening, Crossbar-lock

Opening the knife is facilitated by a thumb notch in the blade, enabling convenient one-handed deployment. Enhanced with ceramic ball bearings, the mechanism provides exceptionally smooth blade action, significantly improving user comfort. Blade security is managed by a sliding Crossbar-Lock mechanism.

Ergonomic G10 laminate handle, steel deep-carry clip

Handle scales are crafted from G10 laminate, a material known for its lightweight properties and exceptional resistance to damage, moisture, temperature fluctuations, and exposure to most acids and solvents. An ergonomically contoured shape coupled with a textured surface guarantees a stable and dependable grip. Secure and comfortable everyday carry is ensured by a flexible steel deep-carry clip (tip-up, right side), facilitating effortless attachment to a belt or the edge of a pocket.

14C28N feature
14C28N
14C28N is a martensitic "nitro" stainless steel developed by the Swedish company Sandvik (now Alleima). Its chemical composition has been optimized to achieve high hardness through nitrogen (0.11%) rather than carbon, which maintains corrosion resistance and increases edge durability. The carbon content of 0.62% contributes to good cutting properties, while chromium (14%) ensures high resistance to rust and oxidation. After proper heat treatment, the steel achieves a hardness of 55-62 HRC, which provides an optimal balance between sharpness, strength, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to its fine-grained structure and ease of sharpening, 14C28N is a popular choice for the production of kitchen, EDC, hunting, and tactical knives.
Crossbar Lock feature
Crossbar Lock
Crossbar Lock is the general name of the mechanism used after the Benchmade patent expired in 2018. The design works on the same principle as the Axis Lock - a spring bar moves along the handle and locks the blade in the open position. The differences between manufacturers mainly concern the details of workmanship, materials, and the shape of the switches. The lock is double-sided, easy to use, and extremely popular in modern EDC knives. Thanks to its versatility, it has become the standard for many companies.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
