Featuring a blade crafted from AUS-8 stainless steel and a durable handle constructed from G10 laminate, this model delivers both performance and strength.
Drop-Point blade profile, AUS-8 steel
A Drop-Point blade crafted from AUS-8 stainless steel offers excellent resistance to corrosion. A matte black coating on the blade minimizes reflection. Convenient one-handed deployment is enabled by dual thumb studs, making the knife accessible for both right- and left-handed operation. Jimping along the spine delivers a secure rest for the thumb, enhancing control during use.
G10 laminate handle
Constructed from G10 glass-epoxy laminate, the handle offers exceptional resistance to cracking and harsh weather conditions. Steel liners and a Liner Lock mechanism are integrated within for added strength. A prominent finger groove enhances grip security, while a hole at the rear allows for easy attachment of a cord or lanyard.
Reversible clip
Outfitted with a spring clip, the knife offers secure and convenient carry by fastening easily to a belt or pocket edge. The clip is reversible and supports four different mounting options—blade up, blade down, for both right-handed and left-handed operation.

Probably everything about this little rat has already been written. The classic speaks for itself. I am one of those people who will always appreciate it for the quality-to-price ratio. For me, it's yet another Rat in the pack :)

Smaller and lighter, lacks a thumb stud. The difference is that here they used D2 steel, which in my opinion is better than the AUS8 used in the older model. D2 holds sharpness better.

Nice small folder for EDC. Also, great D2 steel is used here instead of the rather weak AUS8 found in cheaper models. The knife is truly worth recommending.

I have the green version, great folder - smaller than its bigger brother, so it's more convenient for daily pocket carry. As for build and quality, there isn't much to say, Ontario has gotten us used to top quality.
