Constructed from Cordura, this waist bag is spacious, robust, and dependable, offering ample room for essential accessories, so there is no need to store them in your trouser pockets or carry a larger bag or backpack.
Features a main compartment and 2 additional pockets:
- Main compartment secured with a two-way zipper closure.
- Front pocket also equipped with a two-way zipper closure.
- Slim rear pocket (situated nearest to the hip), fastened with a single-way zipper.
Inside the main compartment you will find: a flat internal pocket with zipper closure, plus a mesh pocket/divider. On the opposite side, integrated elastic webbing enables straightforward arrangement of gear such as a multitool, flashlight, knife, or pens.
The front pocket includes: stitched elastic webbing for efficient gear organization, with a mesh pocket/divider located opposite.
Paracord loops affixed to the ends of each two-way zipper help minimize zipper noise and can double as emergency spare cords. The main compartment’s zipper is shielded by a protective strip to prevent accumulation of dirt.
Located on the front pocket, its sides, and the rear panel are MOLLE/PALS webbing system straps—these are one-inch wide straps sewn with one-inch intervals. The rear webbing enables the Gekon to be fastened to a compatible backpack equipped with a corresponding webbing system, while the front straps provide attachment points for carrying externally mounted urgent need gear.
The waist bag is designed for versatile carry options, allowing it to be worn either around the waist or across the chest. A 60 mm quick-release buckle (fastex) secures the belt, which features an adjustable length of up to 110 cm.
Velcro panels (hook-and-loop) are integrated into the front straps, making it possible to personalize the waist bag with a morale patch that reflects the user's unique style.
