Constructed from Cordura, this waist bag is spacious, robust, and dependable, designed to carry essential gear conveniently without relying on trouser pockets or the need for a bulkier bag or backpack.
Features a primary compartment and 2 additional pockets:
- Primary compartment secured by a two-way zipper closure
- Front pocket equipped with a two-way zipper closure
- Flat rear pocket (positioned closest to the hip), closed with a one-way zipper
The main compartment includes a flat interior pocket with zipper closure and a mesh pocket/divider. Opposite these, sewn-in elastic bands facilitate efficient organization of gear such as a multitool, flashlight, knife, and/or pens.
Within the front pocket are sewn-in elastic bands for straightforward item organization, and a mesh pocket/divider on the opposing side.
Paracord loops are attached at the ends of each two-way zipper, minimizing noise created by zipper ends knocking against each other while also serving as potential back-up straps. The primary compartment’s zipper is shielded by a fabric strip that helps prevent the build-up of dirt.
Located on the front pocket, both of its sides, and the rear panel, the pack features a system of MOLLE/PALS webbing tapes—an arrangement of 1-inch wide straps stitched at 1-inch intervals. Rear webbing enables secure attachment of the Gekon to backpacks equipped with compatible webbing systems, while the front webbing facilitates carrying externally mounted urgent need gear.
The waist pack offers versatile carry options, designed to be worn either around the waist or across the chest. A 60 mm quick-release buckle (fastex) secures the belt, which features length adjustment up to 110 cm for a customizable fit.
Velcro panels (hook-and-loop) are integrated into the front straps, making it possible to attach a morale patch and personalize the waist pack to reflect the user's unique identity.
