Bestech Knives Duoz Folding Knife - Black

An EDC (Every Day Carry) folding knife equipped with a 84.8 mm blade featuring a Spear-Point profile. Crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, the blade delivers excellent durability. Handle scales utilize G10 laminate for enhanced grip and resilience. A secure Liner Lock mechanism keeps the blade safely deployed when open. Jimping along the spine provides added thumb support during use.

Polish design

Ostap Hel stands out as a respected Polish designer, recognized for his unique and contemporary approach to design. His knives exhibit well-balanced proportions, sleek contours, and a meticulous focus on detail, enhancing overall comfort during use. He is known for crafting original models, as well as engaging in collaborations with renowned brands like WE Knife and Bestech Knives.

14C28N stainless steel

The blade is crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, renowned for its outstanding cutting performance and exceptional resistance to abrasion and mechanical wear. An optimized nitrogen content preserves corrosion resistance and enhances edge longevity. Carbon content enables superior cutting ability, while the presence of chromium delivers strong protection against rust and oxidation.

Spear-Point profile, jimping

Featuring a blade with a Spear-Point profile, known for a robust tip, straightforward sharpening, and excellent cutting characteristics. The blade measures 84.8 mm in length and 2.4 mm in thickness. A Satin finish delivers a distinct semi-matte appearance. Jimping (knurling) along the spine, positioned at the thumb rest, enhances grip and provides improved control during cutting tasks.

Liner Lock, flipper

A flipper enables quick blade deployment, with a ball bearing integrated into the pivot for smoother action. Secure lockup in the open position is achieved via a Liner Lock mechanism.

G10 laminate, spring clip

The handle scales feature an ergonomic design and are constructed from G10 laminate. An integrated cut-out for the index finger enhances grip and control during use. Enhanced carrying comfort is provided by a flexible, deep-carry steel clip (tip-up, suitable for both right and left carry), allowing secure attachment to a belt or the edge of a pocket. The clip can be installed on either side, right or left.

14C28N feature
14C28N
14C28N is a martensitic "nitro" stainless steel developed by the Swedish company Sandvik (now Alleima). Its chemical composition has been optimized to achieve high hardness through nitrogen (0.11%) rather than carbon, which maintains corrosion resistance and increases edge durability. The carbon content of 0.62% contributes to good cutting properties, while chromium (14%) ensures high resistance to rust and oxidation. After proper heat treatment, the steel achieves a hardness of 55-62 HRC, which provides an optimal balance between sharpness, strength, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to its fine-grained structure and ease of sharpening, 14C28N is a popular choice for the production of kitchen, EDC, hunting, and tactical knives.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
