Bestech Knives Duoz Folding Knife - OD Green

An EDC (Every Day Carry) folding knife equipped with a 84.8 mm blade in a Spear-Point shape. Crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, the blade offers both strength and durability. Handle scales utilize G10 laminate for enhanced grip and resilience. A Liner Lock mechanism secures the blade when deployed. Jimping on the spine provides additional thumb support during use.

Polish design

Ostap Hel, a celebrated Polish designer, is recognized for his unique approach to modern design. His knives stand out for their balanced proportions, elegant contours, and meticulous craftsmanship, all contributing to exceptional user comfort. He develops exclusive models as well as collaborates with leading brands like WE Knife and Bestech Knives.

14C28N stainless steel

The blade is crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, renowned for its outstanding edge retention and exceptional resistance to wear, abrasion, and mechanical impact. An optimal nitrogen content ensures long-lasting corrosion resistance and enhances edge strength. Carbon contributes to superior cutting performance, while chromium delivers strong protection against rust and oxidation.

Spear-Point profile, jimping

Featuring a Spear-Point blade profile, this design offers a reinforced tip, effortless sharpening, and excellent cutting performance. Blade measures 84.8 mm in length and 2.4 mm in thickness. Enhanced with a gold PVD coating, the blade gains superior corrosion resistance and eliminates glare. Jimping located on the spine in the thumb rest area delivers additional control during use.

Liner Lock, flipper

Deployment of the knife is achieved through a flipper mechanism, with the action enhanced by a ball bearing integrated into the knife’s main pivot. Once opened, the blade is secured in place by a Liner Lock system.

G10 laminate, spring clip

The handle scales feature an ergonomic design and are crafted from durable G10 laminate. A dedicated cut-out for the index finger enhances grip security during use. Comfortable everyday carry is provided by a flexible, deep-carry steel clip (tip-up, right or left side), making it simple to secure the knife to your belt or the edge of a pocket. The clip is designed for easy mounting on either side to suit user preference.

14C28N feature
14C28N
14C28N is a martensitic "nitro" stainless steel developed by the Swedish company Sandvik (now Alleima). Its chemical composition has been optimized to achieve high hardness through nitrogen (0.11%) rather than carbon, which maintains corrosion resistance and increases edge durability. The carbon content of 0.62% contributes to good cutting properties, while chromium (14%) ensures high resistance to rust and oxidation. After proper heat treatment, the steel achieves a hardness of 55-62 HRC, which provides an optimal balance between sharpness, strength, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to its fine-grained structure and ease of sharpening, 14C28N is a popular choice for the production of kitchen, EDC, hunting, and tactical knives.
B-Lock feature
B-Lock
The B-Lock mechanism is Bestech's proprietary solution, inspired by the Axis Lock design. It uses a steel strip that slides in the handle guides to lock the blade pin, and is released by pulling the strip back on both sides of the knife. Thanks to springs, the system works smoothly and can be operated with one hand by both right- and left-handed users.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
