Bestech Knives Duoz Folding Knife - Jade

An EDC (Every Day Carry) folding knife featuring a 84.8 mm blade with a Spear-Point design. Crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, the blade ensures reliability and durability. The handle scales utilize G10 laminate for enhanced grip and strength. A Liner Lock mechanism secures the blade when open, while jimping along the spine offers extra thumb support during use.

Polish design

Ostap Hel is a prominent Polish designer acclaimed for his unique, contemporary style. His knife designs are marked by balanced proportions, sleek contours, and meticulous craftsmanship, ensuring exceptional user comfort. Producing both exclusive models and working together with renowned brands such as WE Knife and Bestech Knives, he has established a significant presence in the industry.

Stainless steel 14C28N

The blade is crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, renowned for its outstanding cutting performance along with superior resistance to abrasion and mechanical stress. An optimized nitrogen content guarantees strong corrosion resistance while enhancing the longevity of the edge. The addition of carbon supports sharp cutting performance, and the presence of chromium delivers excellent protection against rust and oxidation.

Spear-Point profile, jimping

Featuring a spear-point blade profile, renowned for its robust tip, straightforward sharpening, and impressive cutting capabilities. The blade length measures 84.8 mm with a thickness of 2.4 mm. Enhanced with a black PVD coating, the blade gains superior corrosion resistance and reduced glare. Jimping—strategically placed on the spine of the blade at the thumb rest—provides increased control and stability during cutting tasks.

Liner Lock, flipper

Deployment of the knife is achieved via a flipper, enhanced by a ball bearing integrated into the pivot for exceptionally smooth action. In the open state, the blade remains securely locked thanks to the Liner Lock mechanism.

G10 laminate, spring clip

The handle scales are ergonomically contoured and crafted from durable G10 laminate. An added indentation for the index finger offers enhanced grip and control during tool use. Effortless portability is achieved with a flexible, deep-carry steel clip (tip-up, right or left side carry), allowing secure attachment to a belt or pocket. The clip can be positioned on either the right or left side for ambidextrous convenience.

14C28N feature
14C28N
14C28N is a martensitic "nitro" stainless steel developed by the Swedish company Sandvik (now Alleima). Its chemical composition has been optimized to achieve high hardness through nitrogen (0.11%) rather than carbon, which maintains corrosion resistance and increases edge durability. The carbon content of 0.62% contributes to good cutting properties, while chromium (14%) ensures high resistance to rust and oxidation. After proper heat treatment, the steel achieves a hardness of 55-62 HRC, which provides an optimal balance between sharpness, strength, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to its fine-grained structure and ease of sharpening, 14C28N is a popular choice for the production of kitchen, EDC, hunting, and tactical knives.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
PVD - Physical Vapor Deposition feature
PVD - Physical Vapor Deposition
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating is a modern technology for applying ultra-thin layers of metal in a vacuum, which significantly increases the durability of knives. Thanks to this, the blade becomes highly resistant to scratches, abrasion, and corrosion, while gaining a matte surface that reduces glare. This process allows for aesthetic finishes in various colors, from deep black to gold, which do not wear off like classic paint. As a result, the knife retains its great appearance and full functionality even with intensive use.
