Bestech Knives Duoz Folding Knife - Red

EDC (Every Day Carry) folding knife equipped with a 84.8 mm blade featuring a Spear-Point profile. Crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, the blade delivers excellent durability. Handle scales are constructed from G10 laminate for reliable grip and strength. A Liner Lock mechanism secures the blade when open. Jimping along the spine offers enhanced thumb support during use.

Polish design

Ostap Hel stands out as a distinguished Polish designer, celebrated for his unique, contemporary approach. His blades showcase balanced proportions, seamless contours, and meticulous craftsmanship, all of which contribute to exceptional user handling. He produces both innovative designs and partners with brands like WE Knife and Bestech Knives.

14C28N stainless steel

The blade is crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, renowned for outstanding edge retention and exceptional resistance to wear and mechanical stress. Optimal nitrogen levels enhance corrosion resistance and further strengthen edge longevity. The presence of carbon contributes to superior cutting efficiency, while chromium delivers robust protection against rust and oxidation.

Spear-Point profile, jimping

Featuring a blade with a Spear-Point profile, recognized for its robust tip, ease of sharpening, and excellent cutting performance. Measuring 84.8 mm in length with a 2.4 mm thickness, the blade boasts a distinctive semi-matte appearance achieved through the Satin finishing method. Jimping positioned along the spine at the thumb rest area enhances blade control during cutting tasks.

Liner Lock, flipper

Deployment of the knife is achieved via a flipper, with the action smoothness ensured by a ball bearing located in the main axis. Once deployed, the blade is secured by a Liner Lock mechanism.

G10 laminate, spring steel clip

Featuring ergonomically contoured handle scales crafted from G10 laminate, the knife ensures a secure and reliable hold during use, enhanced by an additional index finger cut-out for superior control. For comfortable carry, a resilient, deep-carry steel clip (tip-up, right, left carry) provides effortless attachment to a belt or pocket edge. The clip can be positioned on either the right or left side.

14C28N feature
14C28N
14C28N is a martensitic "nitro" stainless steel developed by the Swedish company Sandvik (now Alleima). Its chemical composition has been optimized to achieve high hardness through nitrogen (0.11%) rather than carbon, which maintains corrosion resistance and increases edge durability. The carbon content of 0.62% contributes to good cutting properties, while chromium (14%) ensures high resistance to rust and oxidation. After proper heat treatment, the steel achieves a hardness of 55-62 HRC, which provides an optimal balance between sharpness, strength, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to its fine-grained structure and ease of sharpening, 14C28N is a popular choice for the production of kitchen, EDC, hunting, and tactical knives.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
