Bestech Knives Duoz Folding Knife - Purple

An EDC (Every Day Carry) folding knife equipped with a 84.8 mm blade featuring a Spear-Point shape. Crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, the blade offers excellent durability. The handle incorporates G10 laminate scales for enhanced grip and resilience. Blade security in the open position is provided by a Liner Lock mechanism. Jimping along the spine of the blade delivers superior thumb support.

Polish design

Ostap Hel, a prominent Polish designer, is recognized for his unique, contemporary approach to design. His knives stand out for their perfectly balanced proportions, fluid contours, and meticulous craftsmanship, enhancing user comfort. He develops both unique models and partners with leading brands like WE Knife and Bestech Knives.

14C28N stainless steel

The blade is crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, renowned for its outstanding edge retention and exceptional resistance to abrasion and mechanical stress. Nitrogen has been optimally balanced to sustain corrosion resistance and enhance edge longevity. The incorporation of carbon delivers superior cutting performance, while chromium provides impressive protection against rust and oxidation.

Spear-Point profile, jimping

Spear-Point profile blade features a robust tip, straightforward sharpening, and excellent cutting performance. The blade measures 84.8 mm in length and has a thickness of 2.4 mm. Enhanced with a black PVD coating, the blade benefits from increased resistance to corrosion and reduced glare. The spine incorporates jimping at the thumb rest, providing greater control during cutting tasks.

Liner Lock, flipper

Deployment of the knife relies on a flipper, with smooth action provided by a ball bearing positioned on the main pivot. A secure Liner Lock mechanism engages to lock the blade firmly in the open position.

G10 laminate, spring steel clip

Ergonomic handle scales are crafted from G10 laminate. An additional index finger cut-out enhances grip security during use. A spring-loaded, deep-carry steel clip (tip-up, compatible with both right and left carry) guarantees comfortable portability, allowing the knife to be easily secured to a belt or pocket edge. The clip offers mounting options on either the right or left side.

14C28N feature
14C28N
14C28N is a martensitic "nitro" stainless steel developed by the Swedish company Sandvik (now Alleima). Its chemical composition has been optimized to achieve high hardness through nitrogen (0.11%) rather than carbon, which maintains corrosion resistance and increases edge durability. The carbon content of 0.62% contributes to good cutting properties, while chromium (14%) ensures high resistance to rust and oxidation. After proper heat treatment, the steel achieves a hardness of 55-62 HRC, which provides an optimal balance between sharpness, strength, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to its fine-grained structure and ease of sharpening, 14C28N is a popular choice for the production of kitchen, EDC, hunting, and tactical knives.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
PVD - Physical Vapor Deposition feature
PVD - Physical Vapor Deposition
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating is a modern technology for applying ultra-thin layers of metal in a vacuum, which significantly increases the durability of knives. Thanks to this, the blade becomes highly resistant to scratches, abrasion, and corrosion, while gaining a matte surface that reduces glare. This process allows for aesthetic finishes in various colors, from deep black to gold, which do not wear off like classic paint. As a result, the knife retains its great appearance and full functionality even with intensive use.
