LYOFOOD Eko Freeze-dried Coconut Millet Porridge with raspberries and chokeberries 77 g/341 kcal

Millet porridge simmered in coconut milk, enhanced with chokeberry powder and enriched with raspberries, delivers an ideal breakfast solution. Like all LYOFOOD rations, preparation is exceptionally fast and straightforward.

Freeze-drying

The model is equipped with a thermal insulation parameter with an R-Value of 2.9, measured according to ASTM F3340-18. This value indicates the level of ground insulation—the higher the R-Value, the better the reduction of heat loss.

In the outdoor sector, the R-Value is interpreted as follows:

  • 1.0-2.0 – ideal for summer use (nighttime temperatures typically above approx. 10 deg. C)
  • 2.1-3.5 – designed for spring, summer, and autumn (approx. 0-10 deg. C)
  • 3.6-5.0 – optimal for cooler environments, including temperatures around 0 deg. C and sub-zero conditions down to approximately -5/-10 deg. C
  • 5.1-7.0 – recommended for winter scenarios, with temperatures below 0 deg. C
  • above 7.0 – best suited for winter circumstances where increased insulation is needed

Overall comfort and warmth depend on the complete sleep system (such as sleeping bag, clothing), the characteristics of the ground, and individual resistance to cold.
