A wholesome, quick-to-prepare freeze-dried ration. Farfalle pasta in a spinach and cheese sauce, vacuum-sealed in a waterproof, heat-sealed foil pouch.

Freeze-drying

Freeze-drying is a method of dehydrating food under vacuum conditions and at a very low temperature (-50 deg C). Thanks to this technology, the product retains its full nutritional value and calorie content, providing a balanced meal suitable for demanding forms of activity. It performs very well during high-mountain expeditions, sailing trips, winter and summer tourism, as well as in extreme conditions. It is chosen by travelers, polar explorers, and athletes for various expeditions and camps.

Ingredients

Pasta (wheat semolina), spinach, onion, cream, Gorgonzola cheese, almonds, salt, garlic, butter.

LYOFOOD meals are prepared by cooking prior to freeze-drying. Composed of 100% natural ingredients: no artificial additives, no added sugar, no preservatives.

    A tasty meal. In the field, something like this definitely boosts morale. It doesn’t taste artificial at all; it’s really good. Especially for soups, but also for other dishes, I recommend not overdoing the amount of water. It’s better to add more if it turns out too thick than to pour in too much from the start. For me, the only downside is the fairly high price.

    Good, and more importantly a somewhat more caloric meal from Lyo’s range. True, I’ve been using it so far in summer, but I think such a hearty portion will be perfect in winter. Lyo’s quality, as always, is second to none. The only downside is the price, but unfortunately the freeze-drying process is not cheap. The field version, so tacticool 100%!
