Freeze-drying

Freeze-drying is a process of vacuum dehydration of food products at very low temperatures (-50 deg C). Thanks to the use of special production technology, freeze-dried food is a wholesome, full-calorie meal, complete in every respect, while meeting the high requirements associated with various extreme sports such as climbing, high-mountain hiking, sailing, and qualified tourism, both summer and winter. It is used by polar explorers, travelers, competitive athletes, on various expeditions or at camps.

    A tasty meal. In the field, something like this definitely boosts morale. It doesn’t taste artificial at all; it’s really good. Especially for soups, but also for other dishes, I recommend not overdoing the amount of water. It’s better to add more if it turns out too thick than to pour in too much from the start. For me, the only downside is the fairly high price.

    Good, and more importantly a somewhat more caloric meal from Lyo’s range. True, I’ve been using it so far in summer, but I think such a hearty portion will be perfect in winter. Lyo’s quality, as always, is second to none. The only downside is the price, but unfortunately the freeze-drying process is not cheap. The field version, so tacticool 100%!
